• Teas Unique matcha iri genmaicha is a deliciously unique Japanese tea creation. Made by blending the finest Tencha grade matcha (green tea powder) with ganmaicha (sencha green tea and roasted brown rice). 宇治抹茶入り玄米茶
• Our matcha iri genmaicha has a robust umami flavor and a vibrant green color. The teas are grown in Ujitawara, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.
• The matcha is shade grown for 20 days prior to harvest. Both teas are machine harvested in mid-May (first flush).
• The Tencha grade Premium Matcha (powdered green tea) 宇治の月抹茶 is prepared by steaming, kneading, sieving, cutting, sorting, drying and stone milling. Then blended with First Flush (宇治上煎茶) sencha and roasted Japanese brown rice.
