This is NOT ETHYL ALCOHOL: It purports to be ETHYL ALCOHOL, which is the same alcohol found in beer, wine, and other liquors. It is safe to touch and perhaps even safe to consume in modest amounts. However, according to the labels on the actual product, it also contains ISOPROPYL alcohol, which is toxic. There is no indication of the amount or percentage of either alcohol, so we should assume that it is mostly isopropyl. Each little package says: "For professional or industrial use only." "Wear protective gloves." "Causes serious eye irritation." "Avoid breathing vapor." "Wash hands thoroughly after handling." Those warnings would not be necessary if it were ethyl alcohol as the product headline says. The product description also says "Its non-flammable and low-odor properties make it safe for indoor use." But even if it were only ethyl alcohol, it would be very flammable and would smell like alcohol. This is even more true for isopropyl alcohol. The product may be appropriate for some industrial uses, but the description on Amazon ("Ethanol Wipes") makes it a dangerous scam. Read more
