I had a severely infected toenail that was ingrown and impacted. I made an appointment with the foot doctor assuming he would have to completely cut off a large portion of my toenail. But with using this (and some epsom salt soaks) I canceled my appointment! The toenail clippers are great! They are sharp and cut well. I like the size of the actual nippers parts. They work for my overly tiny toenails but also for my husband’s toenails. (We do make a point of washing and disinfecting the tools been switching users and have had no rust or issues) The little file tool can be tricky to use at first but is so helpful for rough bits and corners. I absolutely love the hook. That was the greatest tool and I would have paid just for that one tool. This tool was the one that really helped to fix my toenail. Because of the state of my toe ( stubbed it a few time) I love that I can use this regularly to prevent more ingrown toenails. Over all, very happy with the purchase and the money spent for it! Had an ingrown toenail that had been digging for weeks. Tried poking around with a safety pin to lift it since it is small and sturdy(not smart). Was terrified to turn this into a doctor visit. Cue the last resort: these tools. First there was a bit of discomfort, and a bit of pain because the ingrown nail had really started to burrow it’s way into my toe. Couldn’t seem to get ahold of it though. Decided to use the clippers on the edge of toenail to make more room. That was the trick. It exposed the ingrown part of it, and I was able to lift it out in three tiny pieces. Friggin AMAZING. It was so satisfying to see those little shards coming up, then being able to snip them with the tool. Normal nail clippers never would have accomplished this, way too bulky. I didn’t think it was gonna work at first but TAKE YOUR TIME. Don’t get impatient or you will likely hurt yourself. The scooper tools are very dull and safe though. Also I soaked my foot for 15 minutes, and I’m pretty sure that helped everything. Took about ten minutes to really get after it, the clippers are what got me there. And a quick file at the end for good measure. 15 minutes later as I’m writing this review I already feel a release of pressure. These tools work. EDIT: the next day or two there was still some residual soreness, I wondered if I got it all, I did!!! And the pain quickly subsided and back to normal! So if you still feel some soreness the next day I would say that is normal. Read more

These snapped after return window closed and seller said they will “make it right and asked for a bunch of personal info and pictures of item” then when i provided info they said they made a mistake to contact amazon for help, which of course is a waste if time after 30 days.
