For me these worked as well and e name brand, as far as I could tell. At a lower price. However I would prefer a l;arger package, as I feel 7 days is inadequate for a lasting change. The strips stayed in place, I did not notice any sensitivity (however I do not with the name brand as well) and the taste is not overpowering or bad. I'll be honest, when it comes to a product like this, it's pretty hard to tell how much of an actual difference it makes, namely because in using the product, you tend to have better overall dental hygiene as well. You need to brush well when putting it on and taking it off to make sure your teeth are nice and clean for it to stick, so it just generally promotes better hygiene. That said, I did notice a difference in the whiteness of my teeth after using this for the week that's included in the pack, about 2 shades on their guide, which is pretty significant for the fact that this is only a week worth of treatments. That said, it's not surprising that it worked, as it does in fact contain Hydrogen Peroxide, which is a whitener. At about $2 per treatment, the pricing also falls in line with the competition, so the value is fine as well. It's a good purchase if you're wanting to try a smaller amount of strips at first to see if it really works for you and gives you results you're looking for, without investing like $50 into a much larger package with more treatments. I tried both styles. The "express" one works better if you are looking for instant results but the difference is very minimal and barely noticeable. The professional one takes days and even then I didn't see notice whole lot of difference. These strips don't really remove tartar whatsoever however the taste is good along with minty breath. I didn't realize these had two different items in the package, one for professional and one for express until coming back to do this review, but I have used several packages. I like that these are individually wrapped to keep them dry and protected. They are easy to apply, stay in place and have a nice brightening effect if you are a daily coffee and tea drinker like I am. I do not like the thick texture they leave on my teeth, but that probably allows it to cling to the teeth for better treatment. I just brush after and rinse. I have sensitive teeth, so I was relieved that these whitening strips didn’t cause any pain or irritation. They feel comfortable to wear and are easy to apply. As for whitening results, they do work, but you need to use them consistently over a longer period to really notice a difference. Unfortunately, this did not work for me. I know that these types whiteners only work on surface stains. Maybe my tooth color isn't due to surface staining and these will work better for someone else? I did the full course of treatments (once per day for an hour) and only treated my top teeth (for easy comparison to my bottom teeth). I also took before and after pictures. I started at somewhere around a 3 or 4 (out of 12) on the color scale they provided and am still there. In spite of not working for me, I'm giving them an additional star because they had a pleasant taste, had the standard active ingredients, were easy to apply/use, stayed on very well, and weren't expired (they were manufactured 9 months ago and will expire 15 months from now).
