I'm a little bit on the fence about the whitening power of these pens. There doesn't seem to be a lot of active ingredients and there's not a strong chemical or mint taste when I apply it. With that being said, there's a lot of things that this product has going for it, especially the applicator. The applicator is a tube with a brush on one end and a plunger on the other. You screw the plunger on the back (righty-tighty) in order to squeeze out the product through the brush tip on the other side. The bristles on the brush are quite firm and stay together which makes painting on the product very easy to do. And I found it very easy to get the product all the way up to my gumlines and around the edges of teeth. Each pen came packaged in its own box. On the box it clearly states the manufacture date, the shelf life, and the expiration date which is appreciated. Mine were still fresh when they arrived and according to the box, we're only 8 months old so I still have plenty of the 3-year shelf life left. Read more

I don't expect this to do much, but it is gentle! I had to use my phone to take and enlarge a photo of the directions before my first use. I was frustrated because it was hard to get the pen to dispense the gel at first. I kept turning, clicking and waiting to see and feel something. After about 10 tries I think I got some product on my teeth. According to the box instructions I was supposed to wait 30 minutes before rinsing the product off my teeth. Imagine my surprise when I saw online it was supposed to be rinsed off after 30 seconds! That is a pretty significant typo! Thank goodness this is a gentle formula with no strong whitening ingredients (and there's that good chance I hardly had any on my teeth to begin with.) Now that I better understand how to use it I will attempt to use it properly for a while and see if it helps with my pesky coffee stained teeth. It it does I will update my review, but I am not particularly optimistic about this one. Read more

This is a very convenient way to apply whitening gel to brighten my teeth. I have tried many different types and brands and find this one gives you expert control over the little corners you might miss using strips other forms. The gel is clear and goes in smoothly over your teeth. I had to take a paper towel and dry the teeth and then apply the whitening gel. Kept it on my teeth for 10 minutes and then brushed. It did remove some coffee stains and left them whiter than they were. It takes a while to restore a whiter color and it also depends on genetics how white you can really make your teeth. Overall this is easy to use and has noticeably brightened my smile. The ingredients suggest that the whitening is mostly from baking soda and other soothing ingredients, so the results are more like 1-2 shades. I am using these pens to help maintain the whiter color since I do drink coffee daily. It helps with maintenance. I received three pens with this order. They will last a long time depending on how often you choose to treat your teeth. Read more

I've only used these pens a couple of times but I can't tell yet if they're actually going to do any real lightning for my teeth. I don't drink a lot of coffee or tea and the staining on my teeth is just really from the amount of vegetables that I eat carrots and beets and things like that. But I've used these a couple of times and so far there's no discernible taste and they aren't that hard to use. You just brush this stuff on your teeth, give it a few minutes and rinse your mouth out after about 30 minutes. That's it. The ingredients don't seem to be all that innovative or powerful which is something I like. I don't want anything that's going to damage my teeth make them see through or blue. A mild lightener overtime seems the best course so if I don't see drastic results all the sudden but just minimal results over time that's exactly what I'm looking for. If I woke up and my teeth were completely sparkling White in two days I would know that I'd done damage to the enamel or something because that just shouldn't happen. But I'm hoping to see some difference with this. Maybe this is a coincidence but I did get a bit of a sore throat after using this product. I may be a bit sensitive to one or two of the ingredients but that could just be me. Read more

Be aware that the ingredients in this tooth whitening pen are not easily read as the print is so very tiny. I am very particular about what I put in my mouth and body, so it was important to know exactly what ingredients are in any product. I have attached an enlarged pic of the list of ingredients in the product. I then researched the ingredients to see whether they are recommended or even suggested for teeth whitening. Please understand this is my process. Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Borate, Ligusticum, Chuan Xiong Root, Sodium Benzoate, Thymol are listed. According to my research, none of these items are used as active ingredients for teeth whitening. Sodium carbonate is an abrasive cleaning agent, while sodium borate is a cleaning agent that may not even be safe for oral use. One of the ingredients is known for its pain-relieving and blood-activating properties, making it a popular choice for treating conditions such as menstrual cramps, headaches, and cardiovascular issues. I may be off the mark here, but I made the personal decision not to use this product and as such cannot recommend it. Read more

These teeth whitening pens come in a 3 pack and are handy for traveling because of the size. Very easy to use, however the directions on the box are tiny. Basically you twist the bottom of the pen, it takes many twists. Then you will see the liquid on the tip of the brush. Be careful, it may drip. This is not a gel, more like a liquid. Then paint it on your teeth, I felt like I saw results immediately. I like the size and the 3 pack is a good value. I plan on buying more when I run out. Read more
