I have saved so much on my energy bill by deciding to get some heated throws and leave them around the house, instead of keep the heat high during the winter. I keep my home on 66 degrees Fahrenheit and keep these in places I usually sit like the couch and my home office. It gets you very toasty and combined with the appropriate attire I stay warm. Sometimes too warm. It is soft, the right amount of thickness, and heats up quickly. My energy bill was projected to be $250 but with the simple addition of heated throws and nice robes to lounge in (amazon essential waffle knit), my bill was $120. I am thrilled!! Read more

My first time using an electric blanket and it has superseded my expectations. I love the thickness and texture of the blanket which is extremely soft. I’m using this blanket while on recovery from a procedure and let me tell you this blanket has been keeping me warm plenty of nights. Read more

I purchased this over 3 years ago for my Mom. Tonight, it's cold and I put it across the bottom of my bed for my older dog, and didn't hook it up to the electric part, as I just wanted something softer for him tonight as he wasn't well today. Oh my gosh! I can't believe how warm this throw is (for me, underneath the covers)! When I got up to let the dogs out to potty, I immediately went onto Amazon to search my past orders, and purchased both a twin size and queen size. This is not only so soft on the outside, but the heat is generated is unbelievably warm!! And, this is just by my putting it ON TOP of the outside bedspread!!!! I don't even have the plug for this 3+ years later, so this is just warmth from the blanket itself. And honestly, for me, it's a bit too warm, but I'm shocked at the amount of heat generated with no electric part used! BUY THIS, it WILL keep you warm!! The material is a nice thickness and SO soft! I'm so glad I forgot to review previously, so I could share now just how awesome this really is! Read more

The three rating categories of heat distribution, temperature control, and softness aren't adequate to tell the whole story. The best thing about this electric throw is its softness. The heat distribution is pretty good and the temperature control is simple and easy to use. The biggest issue is the amount of heat. This throw is almost useless unless you use it under a comforter or thick blanket. My much cheaper (and smaller) heating pad generates more heat. This throw does the job very well as long as I keep it under my comforter. Read more

I have the throw one and it gets HOT and stays hot. It’s been washed far more times than it ever should have and has also been dried so many times accidentally by my housekeeper and it’s still chugging along. It’s been about 3 years now of daily use and I’m in bed most of the day. Me and the cats can’t live without it . I had actually ordered a bigger one recently from a company I’m more familiar with and the blanket stopped working after 2 washes so I’m back on here buying a bigger version of this brand. I’d had bought the king if they had it. Amazing blanket, will last you for so long, you will not regret this purchase Read more

Gorgeous, soft, and warm. Medium size is great for the living room couch. It was easy to throw in the washing machine and dryer, and worked fine afterwards. Read more

This heated blanket is amazing — incredibly soft, warm, and cozy! The flannel material feels luxurious, and it heats up quickly with three easy-to-adjust settings. I love that it has an automatic 4-hour shut-off for safety and peace of mind. It’s the perfect size for curling up on the couch or keeping warm while working from home. Plus, it’s machine washable and holds up great after washing. Excellent functionality, comfort, and value — highly recommend! Read more

"Tefici Electric Heated Blanket Throw, Super Cozy Soft Flannel 50" x 60" Heated Throw" I did get this on sale, so the value is a little better than full retail. The first thing I noticed when removing it from the box is it's amazingly soft, very plush. It is very light weight though and not very thick so the wires can be felt through in the blanket. It heats very quickly but after a few minutes the heat seems uneven. The instructions don't indicate any additional thermostat or internal temperature control, but I was never left out in the cold. Without the heat feature it's not very warm in a cool room, but that's why it's heated. The controller allows three heat selections that seem adequate. It times out after four hours as a safety feature. I found myself wishing it had an adjustable auto-off setting of one or two hours but not everyone may feel the need. The AC power cord is a little awkward though. It's approximately 9'+ long, with the controller in the middle. It runs from the bottom of the throw to the electrical outlet of your choice. This puts the controller away from the user. So it must be drawn up to a comfortable location to use. The cord then runs from the bottom of the throw up to the user (to reach the controller) and back down to the outlet. Ideally there would be two cords, one from the blanket to the outlet, and one with the controller from the blanket to the user. Whether or not this is problematic will depend on the individual user. Using the throw is simple. One button press turns it on starting at the lowest heat. Each successive push raise the heat through each of the two additional heat levels. To turn it off you must cycle through the heat levels. It took a little getting used to as I would just click on/click off. But that just put me in the MED heat range. An LED indicates the power level (and that it's on, obviously). When the cord is removed from the blanket, the instructions say to connect it back before plugging into AC. If done in the reverse order the controller flashes a red LED and the throw won't heat. In this case unplug the cord from AC and then plug it back in. The LED goes out, the throw is off but ready for use. This behavior means it can't be used to be turned on with a smart plug. I wanted to do this to preheat the throw prior to bedtime. Not possible, but it does heat quickly. I still use it with a smart plug and this allows me to set an auto turn off time via a phone app, to less than four hours, as when napping. To turn the throw on, I have to power on the smart plug then turn on the throw. Slightly kludgy but it works for me. As long as the throw is plugged in, the controller is very slightly warm, even though it's "off", so nothing to be alarmed about. I liked this throw well enough that I bought a second one. So I have a bed throw and a couch throw. The product description mentions updated wiring for more even heating, but uses that in two different throws with two different controllers. I have one of each and am not sure which, if any or both are the updated version. All that said, I like these and would buy them again at the forty-dollar price, if one or both died (after a respectable life). Read more
