I wish the wires weren't tiny strands of coper and were instead a solid wire, but the plastic coating was pre-scored to make it simple to strip, and with a lever nut they were still nice and easy to install. The cord is adjusted by shoving the extra length up into the box and tightening a plastic screw. Overall these are the exact style I wanted for my kitchen lights, at am amazing price.
