Much Better than a Plastic Mat!
I've always used plastic chair mats but they tend to discolor, crack, and break after a while. I was nervous about buying a glass mat but the reviews were good so when we put in dark laminate floors I decided to give it a try. The glass mat allows the pretty floor to show through. It feels solid although I worry if i drop something on it it might crack. Hopefully that doesn't happen! When it arrives I recommend you let the box sit in your house for at least a few hours so the glass can come to room temperature, especially if you live in a cold climate. Overall I am happy with the purchase and it cost about the same as a plastic one. I feel like this will last for a long time if care is taken with it. Read more
