Really heavy duty and good quality chair mat. Be careful of lifting this up and out of the packaging box on your own though because it's on the heavier side. Of course, you could always just cut/rip out packaging to take it out, but I kept the packaging just in case I needed to return it. There's clear film on either side of the chair mat to protect the glass and I only took off the bottom side film and I would suggest others to do that too so you could protect the top a little bit more from chair wheels that are made of hard plastics (or similar) because if it doesn't scratch, it can smear. I purchased this in the smaller size as I don't have a lot of room for the bigger ones. It came very well packaged and is a nice quality. The beveled edges give it a very finished look. I recently put down new carpet in my house and it's very thick, but this mat works well on that. I do like that you can see through it easily, and it doesn't have the plastic nail heads that go down into your carpet like the plastic mats. One thing I noticed is that you have to get used to the chair moving faster on the glass than on a plastic mat. after only two months of use, my mat shattered today. No I would not buy again, and no I would not recommend. Additionally the phone number for the supplier gets a 'can not be completed as dialed' message from Verizon as it is 'not available' very very disappointed. to add to the insult after contacting Amazon they will do nothing for me.
