I chose these polarized aviators for hiking and kayaking days because I needed a pair that blocks glare and wouldn’t feel like a burden after hours in the sun. On the trail, they help me see contrasts in the landscape without that washed-out look that cheap sunglasses give, and on the water, the polarization really cuts down on reflections, which makes spotting fish or sunken logs for navigating easier. The frame feels sturdy but not heavy, so whether I’m crouched by a stream or leaning over a kayak paddle, they stay comfortable and secure. From a quality standpoint, these deliver good value. The tinted tempered glass lenses feel tough and stand up well to bumping around in a pack or dropping once or twice, and the scratch resistance lives up to the claim so far. The UV protection also makes a noticeable difference over a long day outdoors. The frame and lens colors go with any outfit, and they fit on my face well. For anyone who wants versatile sunglasses that work on trails and waterways and actually hold up, these feel like a dependable choice that gives strong performance without a big price tag. Read more

Great set of sunglasses. First off, it is hard for me to find a pair of sunglasses that fit my face. I have an incurable case of Big honking head. I can go to the mall and try on a hundred pairs and not like any of them. But these I like. The fit is just right for my large head, but can obviously look good on anyone. The world looks awesome through them. Which is a hard to explain quality in sunglasses, but some just make the world look better than others. I love that they are polarized. They are comfortable and easy to forget that you are wearing them. I think the only thing is the arms are very thin and you will need to take special care with these as they could get smashed pretty easy. I definitely have stonger feeling aviators, but those cost 10 times more than these, so the value of these is still really good. It's crazy how good cheap sunglasses off of Amazon are these days. Way better than shopping those kiosks at the mall. Give these a try, they are good. Read more

These are classic, true to size aviator sunglasses. The lenses are the right size, unlike many other brands which have a smaller profile. The lenses are crystal clear and provide just the right amount of sun and glare blocking while still being able to see everything else clearly and with detail. The frames fit really well on my face. I didn't have to make any adjustments whatsoever. The nose pads are comfortable. They are very stylish and I like they way the look while wearing them. They come with the usual hard shell case, soft microfiber drawstring bag and cleaning cloth. My only caveat is with the frame. While it appears to be well made with reinforced spring hinges and anti slip covers, it seems to be too lightweight and thin for these lenses. I treat these sunglasses very gently for fear of bending the frame or having a lens pop off. They are definitely more light weight and fragile compared to more expensive aviators. Overall, I'm happy with them, especially at this price point, but I'm concerned about long term durability. Read more

Y'all, these sunglasses are legit high-quality surprises – the gunmetal frame feels solid and premium (no cheap flimsiness), tempered glass lenses are shatterproof and scratch-resistant (already survived a drop, phew!), and the polarized grey tint cuts glare like a dream while keeping colors true. UV400 protection is a must, and these deliver without distortion. Lightweight for all-day wear (no nose dents or ear pain), classic aviator shape flatters pretty much every face, and they just scream "cool effortless style" – throw them on with jeans or a dress and instantly level up. My guy keeps stealing glances (mission accomplished 😂). If you want affordable shades that punch way above their price in quality and vibe... these are keepers. Obsessed – already my everyday go-tos! The opportunity to order & review the Turiou Tempered Glass Sunglasses Aviator’s was the quickest I’ve made since being a VINE participant. I’ve been Ray Ban Aviator fan since my teens but can’t justify $200 for a pair of sunglasses anymore. That being the preface, first thing I loved about the Turiou was the lens size. They were a bit rounder than classic aviator’s but they covered my eyes very well and could probably supply enough wind deflection to be used for cycling which I’d normally use wrap abounds for. I also liked the cool magnetic lock case. But I wanted to be as accurate as I could for people considering this purchase so I compared these to two others pair of sunglasses that I’ve had since the early ‘90s, my vintage Ray Ban RD3447’s and my vintage Serengeti drivers. Polarization: Just as good as the Ray Ban’s, not as good as the Serengeti’s Build Quality: Both the Ray Ban’s and the Serengeti’s felt more substantial and heavier. Clarity: The Turiou tempered glass was beautifully clear and visibility was great. Adjustability and Fit: The nose pads that change the width, height, and angle for a custom, comfortable fit were a bit harsh. I’m not sure if it because they used harder plastics or if the nose pad shape is too narrow, but while not super uncomfortable, I was aware I had them on the whole time I was wearing them. Not so with the Ray Ban’s or Serengeti’s. I’ll update this review after I take these out on a bike ride and tell you how they did on an extended wear and wind deflection. But I live in the Seattle area and we’re in the middle of rainy season, so that may take a few weeks.😕 Scratch resistance: Only time will tell Shatterproof: I hope never to test that aspect but I’ll let ya know. Conclusion: If I’m going on a hike, scrambling up a rock face, a quick jog, a volleyball game or some activity where I’d risk losing or breaking my expensive glasses, I’d take these. They offer good Polarization, clarity and UV protection and if they fall over a 900’ ledge and get bashed at the bottom, I can have a spare pair in my backpack. They’d also be fine as your everyday shades. And while they don’t have the build quality of the other two and feel inexpensive, they don’t feel “cheap”. If used in the applications suggested, i would award a solid 3.5 stars. But that option was not available so I hada go with 3. If the nose pads felt better, they’d come with wrap around templates and based on the price, they’d have gotten 4 stars. Read more
