Great swimsuit bottom! The rutching camouflages imperfections and gives a nice look. Provides moderate tummy control. Material is silky soft and just enough control to hold shape. The designer and these are beautiful. I love the full coverage and the rushing. However, I did return because it was slightly tight in the tippy Top and it made my belly spillover. That is the slimmest part of me, and it just wasn't flattering for my shape. I did return it. Read more
Bought specifically to wear to the beach, these did not disappoint. Snug and firm fitting, these held up to everything the beach threw at me: rough waves, sand, running after kids. *SIGH* Well, I'll just put it to you in pros and cons tonight: PROS: Thick, doubled fabric that will NOT be see through when wet (a MUST for solid WHITE anything). High quality seaming and hemming, no worries at all that this will come apart in the washing machine after only 1 summer of use. Good rise length and cut over the belly, and side panel gives more structure. Perfectly bright, clear white (not cream, ivory, or some other weird variation). CONS: Cut over the bum is not full coverage, not my favorite. It cuts over mid-glute and... well use your imagination. Not flattering if you have a less than perfect butt. The most important thing to me: "tummy control" (as in the description) is very weak. I am an average woman, on the smaller side of average even, but I have had 6 kids and lost tons of weight in my life so far. It *fits* perfectly, but somehow there is no smoothing effect at all, and there is not enough rouching here to hide that. high waisted is definitely something. It goes up to my ribs(but you can pull it down a little and won’t notice cause of the folded being there already). It’s great quality. I’ve only worn it a few times but it covers the stomach and feels soft. Read more
