These are nice for the price. The fabric is decent. There is no tummy control but the ruching helps. I have the sides just slightly gathered in the photo. I'll probably sew the loops under so they don't show. I am 5'2", about 105 lbs and got the XS. They fit like a 2-4, just a smidgeon looser than I would like. I took one star off because they give me a wedgie but not too bad so decided to live with it since they are reasonably priced. Note that I am old (70) so these would look better on a younger person. I have always been a minimal coverage bikini bottom person. Medical issues and associated weight gain took over my body this year, though, so I grabbed these for a bit smoother look, without much thought. Turns out the fabric and construction is pretty decent and blends well with pieces from other brands (my tops are from Patagonia & O'Neill), the fit is flattering, not frumpy, and they hold up in the wash (lingerie bag). I always have trouble finding the right swim shorts as I am curvy with a small waist. These fit perfect! I ordered a medium and it fit just right. Very comfortable!
