Great portable radio. Has Bluetooth features and can be played with USB too. Pretty good radio reception. I like that it is small and can be carried anywhere. This is a nice little radio but has some limitations. I like how the dials are set up - they work well and look good. I like that it has an external antenna so you can get the best reception you can at your location. I haven't tried the bluetooth option, so I can't comment on that. I got this radio so I could listen to quiet classical music when I'm working at home. While this radio fulfills this goal, I had to find another USB cable to power it. The one that comes with it is ridiculously short and there is no AC adapter option to plug it directly into the wall. So if you want to use this like you would a standard radio, you'll have to supply your own USB cord, making the unit more expensive than it looks. I like that it has an option to run on batteries which means you can use this when the power goes out, but you'll need to have the correct batteries handy. This would be perfect if it either came with a much longer USB cable or had the ability to use an AC adapter. Read more

Easy to use and great reception on FM and shortwave. I like the retro look and the analogue style dial tuner. The battery life seems good and the radio is sturdy enough to be toted around. Sound quality is decent from the mono speaker. The radio functions are well laid out and work as expected. I did not get this to be a bluetooth speaker or for the SD card MP3 playback. My experience with devices at this price point is very basic for MP3 playback. This is excellent as a radio. Read more

They've included a lot for the money in this radio: AM, FM, SW, MP3 playback, Bluetooth capability, internal rechargeable battery, 2 D Cell Power, and 5V USB C input. Even the MP3 player gives you the option of MicroSD card or USB A input. The only thing lacking is a display to navigate your music, but at this price, I really wouldn't expect it. You can play/pause, and skip tracks, but it essentially works in shuffle mode. Also nice is that it's not finicky about how you place your music on the card or flash drive. I stored in artist folder > album folder > songs, and it worked fine with a 64GB MicroSD card (format as FAT32). The radio tuning is fine and the reception on AM and FM is great. As for SW, I have yet to find a modestly priced single SW band radio that picks up anything. Of course, location is a factor, but I definitely would NOT recommend it for SW. That's not a radio issue so much as it is a broadcast/activity/location issue. The audio quality, though there's only a single speaker on the radio, is loud enough, and very clear. So, if you consider SW reception as an option that might or might not work, I don't see how you can go wrong with this for the asking price. Read more
