I have adopted these as my gym "uniform" because they are great quality, comfortable around the waist, and quick drying for sweaty cardio sessions. The description makes them sound like these are super short. but depending on where you like your shorts to sit on waist, they can be appropriate to wear casually without being self-conscious. These are nice and short for my incline walking, and they are well made. My quibble is that the tags on the end of the side zippers are large and prominent, and my hand kept brushing against them (I tried different positions to no avail). Wow they really created some great shorts here! Arrived fast, and was exactly what I was hoping for. First off the material is nice and light for good airflow be it for running, biking, etc. Fits true to size, I'm 5'8" 243 lbs wearing an XL. They have the perfect length and width to show off some leg muscle without completely looking like boxer briefs. The price is unbeatable, similar name brand shorts are charging almost twice as much. My only gripe is the black netting underneath is somewhat visible, not sure I would take the lighter colors swimming. But overall I'm very pleased I'll be getting a darker pair for my last reason. these shorts are the best. I order these over and over. very light weight. these and the ones from another brand I think its GRADUAL or some like that. which I will also be leaving a review for. but these are way better than any big brand name shorts and way more affordable. love these. I used to be very active 15 years ago. I used to run couple miles a day... Then, life caught me deep and I got busy with a lot of things. Now, I am having some free time and I am trying to catch up. Texas is very hot during summer and such sport wear is really what you need if you are planning to go outdoor. When I was in Europe, such style of shorts was very common and easy to acquire. In Texas, it is not. I am even thinking that it might be considered as inappropriate for a man to run wearing them... Any ways, sometimes (often) you have not to care what people are saying and do what you believe is good for you. The material is very light and good. The inner brief is good and holding in place. So far, I wore it several times for about 30min run every time and they are holding just as new. One thing I hate about them is the pockets and their very deep size. Super comfy waistline, extremely soft and light shorts. Zipper did get stuck on the material inside the shorts but stayed zipped entire run with phone in pocket. The size fit perfectly. Would get a higher review but there is not enough material at the inseam for guys with a little more meat/muscle on the thighs and caused some chafing, former cross-country runner here but thighs of a sprinter and just starting to run again. These are very comfortable shorts for workouts or just lounging around. They do have a soft liner that is very comfortable without underwear. They are short 3” so if you prefer wearing underwear with them, choose more of a bikini style or they will show. Read more
