I've had the squeaky and non-squeaky... be careful which you order. I ordered the non-squeaky and they were too tough for my dog, but he loves the squeaky ones... he's a senior beagle and not much gets him to play any more, so these are really important. Customer service with this company was/is impressive - they are replacing the non-squeaky for me and in the future I will let my wife order them since she pays attention to the details in product headlines... It's an excellent ball. They're a little smaller than tennis balls and ft well into one of those dog ball throwers. The dog can stil destroy a ball with just a minutes of genuine chewing. She's a small German Shepherd at about 60#. I think a toy should be able to hold up to a dog like this for at least a few day of rigorous chewing but they were pretty cheap for a bunch of them, worked well, added to the throwable ball collection, and easily get through a play session.
