First of all, a 4 star on durability because the metal core for the brashes is kind of weak. I have to be very careful not to bend it when brushing. It's easy to be bent as I don't really use a mirror and move it around in my mouth by feeling it. Other than the 4 star, this is an awesome product. It has different sizes, if you have never used one, for the first pack, you should choose this Multi pack as different colors are for different brush size. you can easily figure out what size is most useful and later on you can buy the single color pack for that size. From what I see it, flossing, brushing, water picking and in between brushes are all needed to keep dental hygiene in good shape. Read more
Oral B used to have these NON (!) Christmas tree brushes I just loved. They were sturdy as all get out and durable as heck. One day I looked up to get a new supply and I learned they were off the market. If I had known I would have purchased a case of them. It's been about two years since I lost a crucial element of my oral hygiene care. I'm still aggravated. I've tried all kinds of crappy products trying to find a decent substitute. Nothing compares. I didn't have much hope for this product, but I figured I'd try it out. The good news is it's all one unit so the brush isn't constantly coming out of the holder when it comes upon a little resistance. The bad news is that it buckles just like all the rest if you miss the gap between your teeth. I don't understand why a more sturdy product can't be found on the market. The handles is a tad short as well. I'm sure that is so it can be cheaply packaged, but it should be at least an inch or two longer. At the end of the day it's better than my current solution of flimsy brushes that are too short and slide out of the holster easily, but I'll continue to search the world over for something better. This product should be designed for clearing food between the back teeth where a motorized plastic poker (which I also use) can't possible reach. Instead it's handy for clearing eye teeth and front teeth. Once the big boy hard work of clearing the back molars and wisdom teeth is needed this tool is lacking. My honest opinion. Read more
These work better than the other interdental brush brands I’ve tried (this is maybe my 5th brand). I like that the handle is sturdy and the brush is angled. I recommend first buying the variety size pack to see which size fits best. The only con is that they are pricey. It also would be nice if a small case was included for travel. It does come with a small cap for the brush head, but a case for the entire brush would be better, because then it could be cleaned and would protect the brush head from being smashed. Read more
I ordered the size 0. Good for tight spaces. Cleans well. Easy to use with the long handle. Read more
I always misjudge items because the photos are larger or enhanced in some way. These brushes look about 7 inches long, but they are closer to 4"-4.5". The colors are cheerful and bright, which personally pleases me, but the critical feature is that, though it is very nice to have a range of brush from very thin to chubby, the brushes are made of nylon or plastic wrapped around a twisted metal. Two of the narrower ones - the pink and aqua- bent during initial use, rendering the brush bent in half, and immediately less effective. Sure they can be bent back, but you can see with this tiny wire, they will not last long. The fat ones - the green and yellow - do feel good, because mostly brush is rubbing your teeth, not wire. This leaves the orange and red, which are just nice to have but really redundant if you buy aqua and pink. All things considered, these are not well designed, certainly not for long term use because the brush will not last as long as the plastic handle , contributing to our now plastic ocean. The pollution is at present so heavy, we are getting microplastic poisoning in our rainwater, and therefore our drinking and bathing water. Also, after reading "Ava Jane's Kitchen" precious sea, land and lake water for harvesting salt is also polluted, so all of our chi chi gourmet salts are probably contaminated likewise. (She offers a salt certified free of microplastic chemical poisoning, so I ordered a bag. It also helps local salineros' (salt farmers), another personal value.) The brushes were fun to use, but floss and wooden toothpicks can do the same job with less waste and cost, I think, but the killer feature was just feeling and hearing that metal spine scratching my teeth as you insert it . I will not buy these again. Read more
I just got these and tried them. I can't see what use they are. You can't use them on your teeth because they are too soft and just bend instead of going between the teeth. I probably won't return, at this price, but they aren't useful for cleaning my teeth and gums. Read more
These are one of those products I didn't know I needed. Over the years my gums have receded and they harbor food particles after a meal. When at home, I'll use a water flosser, but when I'm on the road I stash a few of these in my car and computer bag. I prefer these over floss as they are easier to use. The handle is ergonomic the small brush fits perfectly between my teeth gaps and gums. The brush is gentle again the gums while the twisted wire hold the bristles is firm and doesn't bend when trying to reach my tighter back teeth. I love these get these via a subscription...I do wish they were a little cheaper. Read more
