First off, I had received notification that I would be getting the desk on a Monday, but it arrived the next day late in the day. I proceeded to put it together and got to Step 6, only to recognize there was a screw missing! I became furious as I'm putting this desk together myself (almost 50 yr with back issues) looking all over for this possible screw. My anxiety won and I had to contact the seller by email, which they were prompt in responding. Offered 2 solutions. 1. I can go get the screw from a local hardware store and they would reimburse me, or 2. They ship one to me. Because I was so frustrated after 2 hours of receiving the desk and attempting to put it together, I opted for #2. I am awaiting the missing screw to continue. I swear everything works in 2s in my life! I even had to order my food to be delivered twice today! The desk itself seems it will be pretty sturdy once it's all put together. I hope I can change this rating to a 5 but for now, it's a 2 because I have desk pieces all over my home right now. Update : I ended up going to a local hardware store to buy the screw, but they only had silver with a larger head but same size I needed to finish putting the desk together. After that, it was a piece of cake to put together. I notified the seller and they in turn gave a partial refund for my troubles. Very nice! The boxing was questionable I think it might have been checked or something cause the Styrofoam was broken up and everything. Anyways its very nice and fits right into the small corner next to my bed. Even so it still has a lot of space, more than I actually needed. The assembly was very easy for a young person like myself, when putting it together you could tell its very high quality. The leg space is good if even when I put stuff underneath it, I have good leg room. If you're tall and you want to put things under it, you might have a hard time. It's not shaky unless you purposely shake it. My cat also immediately jumped on it after it was done putting it together if that helps anything lol. Now onto a con. It took forever to get here! It was due on the 31st of December, but it was running late and just got here on January 3rd. I'm not blaming anyone because it is big and heavy, and that's why I didn't request a refund but even, so I was very impatient and anxious! Ok that's all! I don't write many reviews but I will say this desks quality isn't bad. The assembly was pretty easy(I hear people having trouble and that's because with this stuff you don't tighten all the way until all the pieces are snug and can screw in) the hardest part was the top as one hole wasn't reaching the corner but was fixed when I loosened the other screws enough to move and fit it in. The quality is decent I guess for the price 130$ The one thing I didn't like though is I wanted a desk that any office or gaming chair could fit under so the problem was when they do the dimensions for height the height is the top which cuts off about an inch 1/2 making under about 28. The other issues I didn't like is the metal bar makes It rough to mount things properly and the table top is not hardwood but that glued wood (sorry forget the name as I don't recommend tv mounts as it will sink in) but it's solid u might try it I'm not taking that chance tho. If your looking for a solid quick setup desk for about 130$ then this is the one for you I do feel it's a bit smaller than I wished so if that's not a big deal then this is a solid buy I do like It and everything you needed came in the box (tools etc and extra screws) could be better on the desktop part but it's solid Hope this helps Read more

I gave this desk a 5 star bc it’s truly worth it for the price. Very sturdy once assembled, everything came packaged nicely and protected even tho my box looked like it got beat up a bit & assembly was quite easy ! I knocked it out by myself in less than a hour. Assembly Tips: 1. Immediately after purchasing, search for a rubber mallet to have delivered As well. You’re going to need it to hammer some pieces in place. I say rubber bc a actual hammer will damage your pieces. 2. Very Important* When putting things together, do not tighten your screws until the VERY END, leave some leeway for you to move and align your parts. This made piercing things and fitting them together MUCH easier. 3. Part #14 might seem defective at first bc it looks like your screw can’t fit bc some metal or paint may be in the way, but just spend a minute fitting the screw in it and twisting it in on its own, then remove it and try to assemble to the desk again. I put a picture in there for you to reference! All in all, amazing desk. Exactly what I needed. Looking forward to using it!! We ordered this for my daughter's online schooling, just before the pandemic. Fast-forward to 2025, and we still use the desk for crafting, computer use, etc., and it has held up so well! Assembly was really easy (similar to any IKEA item) and the desktop surface is still in fantastic shape, as long as you place a coaster under your drink it shouldn't warp or age.
