Excellent for a 4 year old

My 4 year old loves this toy. She was looking forward to this one and was not disappointed. It's probably a bit too advanced for a 4 year old, but not by much. Takes some practice to quickly move forwards/backwards, but that's not a reason to avoid it. We also had fun with me taking the controls and chasing her. Read more

It's cheap for a reason

This doesn't look or feel very durable. The remote must point directly at the spider and be somewhat close or it won't work. The spider gets stuck on rugs and carpet. My 7 yr old played with it for about 20 min. and then was over it. It looks cool and is fun to watch it's leg all move. It's more of a novelty toy. Read more

Not capable of backing up!

I generally enjoy it, but it doesn't have a back up feature, so if it runs into anything other than a wall, it is stuck in that predicament until you physically move it.
