Sturdy and effective! They not only keep cold drinks cold, they prevent accumulation of condensation on the outside of the glass. We've been using these for about 40 years and our most recent set is likely about 20 years old. Only caution is to hand-wash them if you want them to remain crystal-clear; bumping around in the dishwasher will scuff them, and over time will cause them to leak. We put up with the scuffing and they still last a very long time. Read more

The 16oz tumbler only accommodates a 12oz beverage with a few pieces of ice. However, these are still a good enough size for me so I will keep them.
