This is by far the most outstanding converter I've seen or used. Let's start with how big and fat the cable is - this is necessary to be able to handle the high power voltage found in Europe of 220. If you travel abroad, you need more than an adapter - that's the plug that allows your North American appliances to plug into a European or Asian outlet (which you can see the various shapes of outlets there are). You WILL destroy your hair dryer and any other big power instruments you bring if you don't have the proper conversion. This bad boy has the guts, and power to do just that and leave you with enough outputs to run two standard plug-in devices along with 2 USB and 2 C-connected devices. It is made to accommodate the adaptors without becoming heavy. It is solidly constructed and comes with a dandy velveteen bag. I'm just crazy about this converter. For the price, you can't beat it, I know this because I have other converters that cost way more that could not handle the capacity I have need for. This is a definite upgrade of converters. I have not had one that could handle 220v and with this small size this is great. My old ones would need to be placed directly in the plug but the extension cable allows more versatility and access to all the ports easily. It also is made very well with the excellent quality showing in the cord. I could not find the gauge of the wire but it seems to be able to handle 220v items well. I also like the "lock in" feature and in order to remove the specific plug type requires it to be unlocked which prevents slippage and locked in to work and fit properly. I like the vents on both sides that will keep it cool which in use and the carrying bag which will fit everything in one place while traveling. Compact unit with multiple plug types. The unit has indicator lights to tell you if the connection is correct. It includes good directions. It includes a carry bag to hold everything but the box isn't that large either. It is not a frequency converter so make sure your electrical compnents can handle that. Read more

This works perfectly. It’s not too big, so it’s easy to take in your luggage. Very easy to grab and go. Works well and helped to keep my devices charged while traveling. It comes with various plugs to ensure compatibility in various countries. A must have for anyone traveling abroad. Read more
