I bought two pairs of these per a doctor recommendation. Was very much skeptical at first. However, found they were worth the cost for me and would buy again if doing it over. Here is what I liked: 1) Easy to discretely apply ice post surgery and keep the ice in place. Great benefit with a bunch of kids running around the house and while moving around.. 2) Good support. I didn't understand the importance of this until today. I had been wearing these every day post surgery (Fri to Sun) and had essentially no pain. I tried wearing just boxers to work today (I don't have briefs) and understood by the end of the day why support is important as I was walking a bit bull-legged by the end of the day and starting to feel some pain. Put these back on after getting home and was instantly more comfortable. Now, if I didn't have a house full of kids and also had some briefs in the drawer, a few bags of peas would probably have been just fine. However, that wasn't my situation. Also, a note on the ice packs. The image is very misleading on the part of the seller. It looks like there is ice for both sides, but that is not the case. The ice goes in a pouch in the front, not on the sides, and there is only room for one ice pack. However, the ice pack is big enough that it works fine. Just need to position everything correctly so the ice is on the right parts. It was also nice having 4 ice packs across the two pairs so I could rotate them through the freezer. Each one probably lasted around 20 minutes. As for size, I am 6', 220 and the X-large fit fine. I am guessing a large probably would have been fine as well (all the material can stretch out). I can't say anything bad about this product. It's not often that I can truly say that but it did exactly what it says It's supposed to do. I was under the impression that each ice pack would go on each nugget and I was concerned about the rotation. That's not the way it works. The one ice pack will sit right on top of your ball bag and keep it cool while the other one is freezing again. The packs seem to freeze quicker than others for some reason so there was no issue with always having something nice and cold on my jewels. I was also concerned about being too cold and getting frostbitten but the layer of protection between was perfect. Great product and I would buy it again but I hope that I don't need a second vasectomy! Haha Read more
