I LOVE this skirt! I'm 5'8" about 145 lbs, this skirt is long enough for me. Every time I wear it I get compliments! I feel comfortable, whimsical, a little exotic & sexy wearing it. *** to find the cord- at the side seam start down at the hem and work way up to the bottom of the pocket. The cord ends are stitched into the bottom of the skirt.... at the bottom of the pocket is where the cord is folded in half, and sorta tucked into the fold - firmly pull the cord and you'll be able to cinch the sides are your skirt! You're not searching for loose strings, you'll be pulling a cord,( a big loop) to adjust. This brand is great! Super comfy and flowy. Easy to wash in cold water and hang to dry. Im 5'7", 150 lbs, and I wear very low on my hips and it fits perfect. I do have to be careful not to trip due to how long this skirt is. I have to wear a slip, it's lightweight material and the sunlight from behind allows your silhouette to be seen through the skirt without a slip. This is the perfect boho vibe! I wear this skirt everywhere. Ren fest, work, friend's houses, city events, concerts. I even wore it on a 6 mile hike in the Smokey Mountains! I own three at this point, and I love each and every one of them. I think my oldest one was bought three years ago. They can get thrown in the washer and dryer (although I usually hang dry). The dye is set firm, no fading from washing or use. The pockets fit everything and I don't need to carry a bag. The elastic stays up no matter how much I load those pockets up. This is the ultimate skirt and I love it to pieces, will definitely continue buying until I have one in every color! The fabric is soft and comfortable, not see through for undergarments. TBH, at first, I didn't know if I absolutely loved this or kinda hated it 😂. After wearing it for a couple minutes and playing with the side ties, I - LOVE- IT. I included a photo of the ties because they're easy to miss at first and I saw a couple people say they "didn't come on the skirt". They're on the bottom of the big pockets, and go all the way to the bottom of the skirt. The skirt touches my feet if I wear it where I like to (closer to my hips than waist) and I'm 5'9" so that's excellent! You can wear it high on your waist, and the draw strings on both side can also shorten it. Elastic is a great width and stretches a lot but will also hold up top. A fantastic "one size" make. I expected the fabric to be like a basic dress shirt for some reason, but it's thicker and great quality. I could see this being warm in winter with leggings and still keeping cool in summer. Very boho and comfy to wear! Sewing is top notch, great craftsmanship. I will probably get another color, as I did with a different one of their billowy skirts. A++, quality is DEFINITELY worth the price. Update: my other two skirts are going strong, but the olive green one is way too warm toned for me so I finally accepted that. I got the light green color but it's a little less muted and more pastel than I anticipated. Tried mangosteen, a really gorgeous color.
