When I ordered this, I didn't comprehend the volume of beads that would be delivered to my door. I am both horrified and delighted. I have a 10 year old daughter who needs extra help following instructions and making good choices and well... I want to say these are for her, but deep down in my little goblin heart I know that I got these for the little goblin girl inside of me. So, when I opened the amazon box and saw a smaller box inside I was intrigued. When I lifted the small box I was more like "oof this is heavier than I expected." It was full. Very full. To the top. It arrived in a very nice and satisfactorily puncture resistant bag that was very well sealed. I pulled it out of the bag upside down in fact, which was fine because it was packaged very securely. And that's when my daughter saw what it was. She also has an inner goblin and it is full of glee. I cut open the bag and poured them into a large bowl of unspecified volume capacity. The chapstick was not included and was used to show scale. It's so much. I am having a hard time processing the magnitude of beadage I have acquired. The assortment is varied and I can't even begin to start identifying individual shapes. I am overwhelmed. It all looks so good and I want to touch all of it at once and feel them and it's so much. Yall. I almost bought 2. I didn't think 1 was going to be enough, so I debated buying a second one. I almost drowned myself in plastic shiny delightfulness and I'm not sure if I should be sad or relieved--whether it was a mistake or a narrow escape. My partner will be home in 3 and a half hours and he has no idea. I like to imagine him opening the front door and there just being a hiss and rush of plastic shininess flowing out of the house like water as he, in a panic, wades through the ever deepening madness, desperate to get to the car before he is overwhelmed. There is no escape. The tires spin and tiny plastic gemlike rainbow pellets scatter everywhere, but the car does not move. The outpour continues. There are no survivors. 10/10, I like the idea of buying again, but it's finna be a hot minute before I need more. Excellent value for money. Would be PERFECT for an art teacher or for sensory play. Does not fit in a gallon ziplock bag. Does not fit in a gallon ice cream pail. Might fit in 2 gallon ziplock bags, or in 2 gallon ice cream pails, or a 2 gallon bucket. It is a lot of beads yall. I cannot stress this enough. Read more

love these beads. I love how they have all different kinds of shapes and colors inside. The holes on the beads makes it easy to thread string through them. Read more

When I bought this, the price was set to $24., in my opinion I do not feel that this product was worth that much. Below you can find the break down of what I received. Now if the price was $18-$20 I can see it being worth that. The one thing I was happy about was the amount of "trash" I got, meaning broken beads, cast off and such. For the trash I got just about half an oz but in total I received 5 lbs and 1.55 oz so the overage covered that easily. The pony beads took up 47.05% of the total weight, but there was an array of beautiful colors. The main thing I wished for was more variety of the shapes that I received. All in all, this is not a bad product and if you want a variety of pony beads this is just right! Type of bead | Lbs. | Ozs Pony beads | 2. | 6.25 Tri | 0. | 6.55 Faceted | 0. | 8.95 Ribbed. |. 0. |. 6.80 Rings/donut. |. 0. |. 6.90 Tiny/mics odd. |. 0. |. 7.70 Letters. |. 0. |. .50 Hearts. |. 0. |. .35 Flowers. |. 0. |. 1.10 Oval. |. 0. |. .15 Airplane. |. 0. |. 1.35 Dolphin/whale |. 0. |. .55 Butterflies. |. 0. |. .20 Zoo animals. |. 0. |. .60 Stars. |. 0. |. .15 Skulls. |. 0. |. 1.00 Trash. |. 0. |. .45 Hope this helps! These are my own options! I bought this product with my own money and will not be reimbursed. I was not asked to give favorable opinions and was not contacted by the company at all. Read more

Half of the box is pony beads. You can't tell that from the photo they provide. I bought my box to get beads with an inner hole of at least 3mm. Variety is hard to find. This box I received was of no exception. Most of the rings are gray. The skulls are brown. The beveled flat spacers are mostly gray. As far as large beads, I got 3 tug boats; 2 white and 1 black. 90% of the thick rings were all shades of gray and dark purple. Same with the beveled round beads. I did get some pink in the puffy critters, but there wasn't very many beads. To make this box worth something, I'm actually going to go through all the pony beads and pull out the faceted ones as well as all the beads I don't have. I guess it's the luck of the draw and my box was terrible compared to others. I say, "SortingIf you feel lucky, buy a box. If you aren't so lucky, you may want to skip this purchase." Read more
