Super cute and well done

I bought this to show my church group and the kids really liked it. Very basic bible stories and seeing it in brick form makes it so much fun! Highly recommend. Read more

Charming and Imaginative!

Melissaβ€”March 20, 2024

I found this movie at my local library, and after watching it today, I have to say I LOVE IT!!! It's so charming and clever! The way the characters are portrayed is simply endearing. The voice acting had me cracking up at certain parts but it made the film that much more enjoyable πŸ˜„ there's one character who sounded like a surfer dude and another who was VERY tiredly scared of the locusts. But honestly, it's one of the best movies I've seen this year, by far πŸ™Œ definitely worth a watch. Even the violent scenes and the parts of the betrayal of God did an excellent job of capturing the wickedness of evil in people's hearts. I was honestly surprised that a movie told through Legos could be that impactful (this is not affiliated with the Lego movies, there is no animation, it's all hand moved). Also the beginning with the crux constellation had me fan girling bc I love space. That was a very unique touch they added. Read more

Great summary captivating for kids

windmillofwordsβ€”April 19, 2022

This is a great summary of the main events of Genesis-Deuteronomy. My kids (7&9) were quite captivated and amused by the Lego figures. The narration was well chosen and true to the heart of the Bible over all. Read more

Lacking God’s Created Shades of Colors

Aubβ€”July 14, 2021

The movie is pretty good in story telling the Bible even though it loosely follows and comically adds some lines to the text of all major versions. Some times it is great, other times it makes me think…wow, that is a different way of thinking about it. But there can be trouble when scripture is ignored or misleading. For instance, the serpent was able to walk before God amputated it. However, the scene with the snake has it slithering down a tree. Another major aspect of the movie is greatly deceptive to the representation of God's creation. There is the lack of Lego characters with darker skin tones. The producers are not using the lego people to resemble this fact as the spectrum from light brown to the darkest skin tones are not displayed as active or even passive figures. This one adjustment in the production is really important to not give off false and misleading beliefs. Read more
