Has a taste of baking soda and a little bit of mint which could be off-putting for some. If you use this, avoid drinking dark beverages and staining food like beets and such if you want this to last the whole evening. This is not a permanent fix, but one night on date nights, special events, and photoshoots may improve your smile short term. Otherwise, you may want to go get your teeth professionally whitened in the office where they can monitor what is happening and not damage your teeth like the at-home kits could. Doing at-home treatments can damage your teeth and ruin them. This product should be safe though, it is used as a toothpaste and done. No soaking or waiting. Terrible product. Tore up my gums and didn’t work AT ALL. Makes it seem like it would be color canceling but it’s so light it’s a joke. Also it feels like you’re brushing with glass and tastes terrible. Very gritty. I like to brush my teeth gently and slow when using the purple tooth powder because of the grittiness. Don't want to ruin my enamel. It does have a nice mild minty taste and I can also taste the baking soda. It washes off my teeth fine and does not stain anything ex. toothbrush, sink. Gives me a brighter smile. I do tend to drink coffee so I really like having this purple tooth powder on hand. Great for those moments where I need to quickly get a whiter smile. This does not whiten my teeth like a whitening strip would. This does give my teeth a nice brighter shade look. Read more

It does work but there are some things to be aware of. First ingredient is Sodium Bicarbonate which is baking soda and it tastes like it. Yes, there is an overpowering menthol eventually but you will first taste salty baking soda. It doesn’t stay with the toothbrush very well and kept pooling at the bottom of my mouth. It can also cause dry skin around the mouth. The container is very small and very expensive. Since you need to dip your wet toothbrush into the jar, you probably wont be sharing this with others so each would need their own. There is no safety seal of any kind which I personally feel should be a basic, standard requirement for a health product.
