My son just turned 4 and is about 40+ lbs. when you hold them up they look huge but they fit perfectly. They go down to the knees and the draw strings are great option for cinching tight. Great quality. We got these for my son who’s 6 as we desperately needed shorts that fit for summer. It was a good price for getting 3 shorts, it would have cost much more in store to buy them individually. They are great quality he’s been wearing them all summer and they have been washed many times. They are a thinner material so they aren’t going to leave kiddos hot during the summer. The colors are perfect because they go with everything he wears already. He can easily just pull them on and off which is also great for kids.
