I really like this sweater. It's not too big or too small. I ordered a medium size, and I think it fits just right. I mean, it really depends on how you like your clothes to fit rather than whether it's true to size or not. The color of my sweater is off-white, and I really like it. It looks similar to the picture. The sweater is very comfortable. It feels super soft and keeps you warm. Regarding the smell, I believe new clothes tend to have a specific scent. This one smells just like any other new clothing item, which means you should probably wash it before wearing. I've already washed this sweater twice, and I completely forgot that I shouldn't put it in the dryer, and it didn't shrink at all. But I would recommend being careful, since I might have just been lucky. The quality of the sweater is good, and that's often hard to find when shopping for clothes online. I really care about the fabric quality, and this one doesn't make me feel itchy or uncomfortable. I love it! Depending on how you style this sweater, you can look really nice, so I definitely recommend it. I'm not being paid for this review, and I'm actually considering buying it in different colors. Cute and well made. I purchased the Extra Small, and tried it on over a tee shirt before I washed and dried it. It was sturdy fabric that got caught up on my tee shirt. It had a soft plush lining . I figured you should not have a cotton camisole or tee under it because the fabric is not stretchy but it is soft. This was not a solid off white but had a bit of a grey mottling pattern which were small and blended in the off white cream like colored fabric. The inner lining was soft white. The sleeve length was fine. I have normal length arms but I am petite with long legs and a shirt waist. The shoulders were a little roomy for my frame. The zipper is nice and the neck line stands up to my chin when fully zipped. My neck to collar bone distance is normal length. I washed it with like colors in cool water and tumble dried on medium heat. I tried it on without a tee just a regular bra and it fit so softly and snuggly. This sweatshirt is so cute. And excellent quality, soft and thick. A size S is usually the suggested size for me. But a size M was suggested so I ordered a medium. It was far too wide and long for me. I’m 118lbs, 5’4”. It is a cropped style sweatshirt. And that way it is cut I would not suggest sizing up for length. A medium was extra wide. The quality of fabric is very good - it's thick yet soft, and definitely warm. The fit was TTS and looked great on when looking in the mirror. Wanted to love it based on how warm it was and how cute it looked when I initially tried it on. The issue is the functionality when trying to actually wear the item: The lack of "give" in the cuffs not only makes it impossible to roll up the sleeves, but also makes it difficult to take off. Due to the cut and thickness, it's impossible to raise your arms above your head (like trying to reach a high shelf). This also makes it difficult to take off. Style note: As others have mentioned, on the cream/beige sweatshirt, the gold zipper is plastic while the pull is metal, so they do not match exactly. This is very apparent when you see the item in person, but probably less so from far away. Read more

This sweatshirt was on sale and I had had it on my list for awhile, so I jumped at the chance to get it. I ordered one for myself in white and one for my daughter in cream. FP dupe is on point! It is the perfect thickness--not too thin so you don't want to wear it in winter but not too thick that it can't be worn on warmer days. I love the collar and how it stands up perfectly, zipped or unzipped. The sleeve length is perfect and thumb holes line up. It is a cropped style, which I normally do not like, but depending on your torso length/height, it should hit right at top of hips (I am almost 5'9" but size up in sweatshirts). It is not a fitted style, so it won't nip in at the waist, which I appreciate--it goes straight down. After washing, there is no pilling of the material inside or outside (I wash on cold cycle, hang dry). Overall, super cute sweatshirt that I will be purchasing again in other colors. Read more
