When I watched this Dvd the first time I was amazed at the 3d Quality. MY collection of contains 122 3d movies. Only 40 have them have excellence quality and in your face. About 20 Have few 3d moment but every so often. We stated watching on a Samsung 40 inch then went to Samsung 65 inch. Now have Epson short throw 100 inch screen. Each Step along the way got better My first had cardboard glasses and all color was blacks and greys. Then Avitar came out and got IR glasses and saw more color popping. But now have RF active shutter glasses and so much 3d is now more pronounced. I visited a fiend who did not active shutter glasses and took this dvd and now I realize why so many hated 3d. It showed some 3d but the parts where the screen takes up half my living space never showed up on his system. Read more

This fun little film is such a treat to watch for all ages and can be enjoyed time and time again.. It's in 3D but you don't need any 3D home system in order to watch it. I can't watch it in 3D myself but I'll bet it's an amazing experience! Both 2D and 3D on the same blu-ray disc, so if you have a 3D system with all the proper equipment it will automatically detect it and you should be able to take in all the glory of 3D animation and enjoy the ride.. If not.. no worries it will play the 2D version just fine just like any regular blu-ray disc. I hope this helps answer that question in case you're wondering. Read more

I was Very pleasantly surprised with this movie. 3D is some of the best I've ever seen. Lots of pop outs, good story, and super price. If you have a 3D TV you need this movie. Excellent for all age groups, young and old. Seriously, the 3D is unbelievable. Read more

My Daughter loves this movie. She could watch it over and over again if I let her. It's a cute story with a cute kitten. I like the steampunk aspect and the music. Some people think it's too violent for little kids but it's really no more violent than the cartoons I grew up watching and everything turns out fine in the end. Read more

If you've got a 3D TV or projector and want to show your friends what the technology can do, this is a great movie to use. Lots of "in front of the screen" pop outs, some fun 1st person view chases and great depth really do a good job of showcasing the 3D aspects of the film. Just don't expect the Disney/Pixar emotional story elements here. The story is written with a broad pen and stuff just seems to happen to move the story forward or provide a place to throw something at the screen. The kids will probably enjoy repeat viewings, and if you're a 3D buff it's worth adding to your collection. Read more

Our 2 year old LOVES this movie. Wants to watch it every day, several times a day. Our 8 and 10 year old seem to like it ok too. We seem to notice something new each time we watch it that we didn't notice before. Very well done. I don't like animated movies but this is one I can actually watch without too much boredom. Have been watching on Netflix then one night netflix wasn't working but our son wanted "cats!" Tried Amazon Prime video but they gave us the 1 day rental instead of the "buy video" that we attempted to purchase. So, it's the home DVD to the rescue.
