The Humitar ONE - Acoustic Guitar Humidifier Hygrometer

I have one of these Nomad's in my guild 12 string and it works great and keeps the humidity consistent. That distilled water soaked pad keep water WAY longer than anything else I have used. My Guild is safe. I have 3 Martin noodle slinky like humidity controls that snake into the guitar body and they do not do much but a few degree increase for humidity as detected in my separate humidity control gauges. Also got D'Addario packets and they suck too. SO I bought another Nomad and will buy more until I have enough for all my acoustic guitars. Read more

It's easy to use and built very well. You put this on the strings 3 and 4 and it then applies to the body of the acoustic guitar. I don't like how it stretches the strings. I also don't like how high it protrudes vertically. My case is snug and it comes into contact with the device, causing it to push downward the strings already being stretched horizontally by the device thickness. Just doesn't seem like a good idea to me. But I could be wrong. Read more

I moved from a house with a humidifier, and vaporizer in the bedroom to a place with no humidity control. Household humidity was at 26%. I put these in with my two acoustic guitars, and it holds them at 50 to 60% reliably. When I take the humidifiers out while I’m playing, they immediately show the 26% humidity of the household I was amazed at how much water the little sponge is hold (yes I did use distilled), and that even after a couple of weeks, they are wet enough to not need more water.
