This matcha lemon drink mix is really tasty and refreshing! I love that it’s sweetened naturally with monk fruit and has zero sugar, plus it gives a nice boost of Vitamin C. It doesn't mix very easily so that would be my only complaint. But it’s still a great drink to have every day. Read more
Ugh. This is a case of I should have read the reviews. Why is there even cinnamon in this??? It overpowers everything else. Will be throwing this in the trash. Read more
Let me start by saying hand stirred, this is awful. It is chunky, tastes bad, and looks like muck. I never mix anything that way, I use a personal blender, but I was so surprised by other reviews I went back and checked to see if that changed the outcome. It definitely does. If you blend it, it is salvageable, and that is my review below: I like the flavor, but there are some issues to be addressed. I zooped this up with cold water in my personal blender, which is IMO the easiest way to get a good blend of a mixed drink. This blended well but almost immediately started to separate (you can see it in the picture I took). I tasted it, and it is a yummy matcha lemonade, but then there is this cinnamon ending that is not gross but completely unnecessary. Because it started to separate I tried adding ice and blended that up. This helped only slightly with the separating. Finally, I added cashew milk as a sort of matcha latte limonata, lol, but that was gross. So, I will just drink this as a yummy matcha lemonade with a weird cinnamon aftertaste and worry less about the separation, although at the end of the drink I had a ton of cinnamon at the bottom of my glass. Honestly I think this would make a great cocktail blend, but I think I'd filter out all the cinnamon sediment beforehand. Read more

I've drank another matcha lemonade before that was quite decent - but not perfect. So I figured this might give better results. But then I tasted the cinnamon everyone else is commenting on. Why is it in this??? I drink a LOT of matcha. I love cinnamon. I tried making a cinnamon matcha latte/protein shake/etc many times. It just doesn't work. The flavors do not go together at all. At all. Yet this company added it to a lemonade??? Who ever adds cinnamon to lemonade? All of that said - this is actually quite good - it is a tasty lemonade and matcha mixture that does work. until you get the cinnamon after taste that kinda tries to ruin it. The color is a murky green you'd expect from matcha. It dissolves well with a stick blender, milk frother or blender - but terribly with a fork or spoon. Texture is typical matcha... a hint of grit but otherwise rather smooth. Read more
I picked this up, found out afterwards there’s cinnamon after seeing a low star rating, and was fully prepared for the worst. I’m happy to report that whatever you think a matcha lemonade with cinnamon in it tastes like, it’s not that - or at least, not what I expected. I actually am liking this a lot. I don’t quite know what it tastes like - it’s not lemonade-like, it’s not really matcha-like, but it has almost a sweet tea, fruit-like flavor. I think the closest description I have is similar to a fruit flavored green tea you might pick up at the store in a bottle. The cinnamon is not overpowering to me, and lends a touch of earthiness that compliments the matcha well. Once I dug the scoop out of the bag, it was easy to use and the powder dissolved reasonably quickly. The matcha does tend to settle over time, so I would recommend either having a straw or spoon to stir this periodically, or putting it in a water bottle. The amount you see in the photo is the appropriate amount of water for one serving and includes one scoop of the mix. Even though the mix settles slightly over time, it does not have a chalky texture or flavor, which is very impressive to me. I’m surprised at the lack of bitterness overall and that the powder is so smooth. At the current price of $16, this comes out to 40 cents a cup, and reminds me of something I might pick up at Starbucks or a tea shop. I wouldn’t be able to recreate this easily at home without this mix. I’ll definitely continue drinking it, and if I end up craving it, I’ll pick it up again. Low-calorie is a big bonus. Long story short, I would recommend this if you like sweetened iced green tea with a light citrus fruit flavor. This is more matcha than it is lemonade - it’s not tart enough to be a lemonade. But it is very delicious and refreshing in its own right. Read more

I really wanted to love this, as I've had delicious matcha lemonades before, but this just totally missed the mark for me. Before I get into it, the few positives I appreciate are: there is a scoop included for easy measuring, the texture of the powder is fine and non-clumpy so it mixes easily, there is a bit of an earthy matcha smell to the powder, and the color looks to be what I would expect for a matcha lemonade mix- a more muted brownish green instead of bright green. It's also a pretty good value at less than fifty cents per serving, IF you enjoy the taste. HOWEVER, in my opinion, the addition of cinnamon just completely ruined the taste and overpowers everything else. Matcha is already a very delicate and light flavor, and it really doesn't need much to complement it. I literally cannot comprehend why a very strong spice like cinnamon would ever be added to a matcha lemonade mix. If I try really really hard to just taste the drink on it's own, it does taste a bit lemonade-y, but as soon as I swallow it, the aftertaste and lingering notes is just CINNAMON. The lingering cinnamon note also lasts so long and honestly gave me a headache after a while. It completely masks the grassy, earthy notes of high quality matcha, so I have no idea if the matcha used in this is even good. The matcha is really just glorified green food coloring here. The tiny hint of grassiness you get is like if you stopped and bought cinammon lemonade from a kid's lemonade stand, and grass is floating in the air because their dad is on the lawnmower in the background. If you like cinnanon, then give this a try. If you like matcha then run far away from the lemonade stand. Read more
