THE NORTH FACE womens Aconcagua 3 Hoodie

I have worn this coat daily for 7 days now on an Alaskan cruise. It was very cold at times and in the 50’s at other times. This coat was perfect for both. It is very lightweight but warm. The hood is nice but doesn’t get in the way at all. It’s like it’s not there when not in use. It has 2 large pockets inside that I have carried a multitude of items in. I have carried phone, gloves, sunglasses, passports, and etc all at the same time! I can even fit an 8” tablet in there lol. The cuffs are great on the sleeves for warmth. Zip pockets on the outside. Fits true to size with room for layers but doesn’t look boxy. This will also be a great everyday coat for NC fall/winter. What more could you ask for? Read more

This is a really nice jacket I love it!! However, some feathers do poke out of it occasionally. But, yes I would purchase again. This jacket is lightweight and the length is perfect and it’s keeps me warm. Read more

This is my third one. I have one for the NJ HSE..one for the Mountain hse..and now I d for the shore ..light...sooooo comfortable...hardly like you are wearing nothing...and keeps you warm...great fit. Love them. Read more

Edit to my earlier review: taking off a star after wearing this puffer a handful of times, I noticed a similar issue that another reviewer indicated. Feathers! Everywhere! Two or three feathers sticking out seems reasonable, this is ten or fifteen feathers poking out all over the jacket that makes it look like it's molting. Such a shame because it's SUCH a cute jacket otherwise :( I'm so glad I decided to buy this puffer, even at full price--the quality, color (Midnight Mauve), and style are beautiful. The fabric feels just right, smooth and slightly matte. Warm yet lightweight. And the cut of the collar and hood are so flattering. The sizing was accurate for me (34/35" bust, 5'5", 116 lbs, and size Small fit well). Fits a medium-thick sweater beneath but also looks nice over a thin long-sleeve. Read more
