Stylish Winter Boots Ideal for Michigan Winter — Size Runs Small
These boots are excellent for Michigan’s winter months. The lower half is made of durable rubber, offering waterproof protection that should easily handle walking through a few inches of water or slush without any issues. The upper portion has a seam-sealed suede-like material, designed to be waterproof as well. I haven't tested this yet, we will see how it does this winter season. Aesthetically, they look very polished and well-made, with a fit and finish that reflects the quality North Face is known for. The color choice is practical too—it should maintain a clean appearance even after exposure to mud or snow. Inside, there is cozy fur lining around the top for added warmth, complemented by a padded mesh material throughout the rest of the interior. The primary downside is sizing: the boots run small and are quite narrow. I originally ordered a size 7.5 for my wife (her usual size), but they were too tight, so they ended up fitting my daughter instead. If you have wider feet, you should consider sizing up. Overall, I’m very happy with these boots. They deliver on comfort, warmth, and weather resistance, meeting the high standards expected from North Face. Just be cautious with the sizing to ensure a good fit. Read more
