The Original Sula Versatile Teak Towel Rack - A Towel Rack

There aren’t enough towel racks in the bathroom of my new apartment so I had to get creative. I just assembled this lovely, three-rung teak wood rack and it seems like the perfect solution so far. The wood is really high quality, with an attractive finish; the individual pieces are hefty and well crafted, and the stainless steel hardware was very easy to use. It was a simple set-up process and the rack seems to be very sturdy so far. This rack cost more than the average metal racks I was also browsing, but I think this is a case of “you get what you pay for.” Seeing the finished product’s elegance and promise of durability, I am betting that it will be worth the price tag. I didn't want a tacky PVC towel holder for the pool area, but I also didn't want to pay a fortune for a wood rack that wouldn't withstand outdoor conditions. I love this rack. It's already sealed; it was really easy to assemble. The wood is sturdy and has a good weight. I ranked this item 4 stars instead of 5 only because it is just a little short for beach/pool towels. I imagine this is because it was designed for basic bath towels. The price is right, and I may buy another to accommodate guests. Read more

Moved into a rental without towel racks. Have loved this solution from the day I assembled it. This teak towel rack is FAR more attractive and versatile than wall-fixed towel racks. It is lightweight enough to move to where you need it. Fully loaded with towels, it's sturdy, unlike wall racks that tend to pull away from the wall. And it is beautiful! It's also great for drying laundry. Initially I looked at larger racks, but, after living with the teak rack, I realize the larger ones would have been too heavy and taken up too much space.
