The Sak Iris Crossbody

I love this bag! I brought this bag twice. Once for myself and another for a friend who always compliments me on my bag. This bag is roomy and hold a lot of stuff. The leather is soft and high quality. I especially like the way it I can adjust the straps to fit me. The bag has a outside zip pocket where I put my cell for easy access. The inside of this bag is very well-made and overall the bag is very durable. I really like the fabric cotton strap. A stylish bag that is just the right size for everyday use, with an outside lined zipper pocket on one side, and an open slot on the other for keys or sunglasses. Inside is a zippered pocket and two sleeves in brightly-colored fabric. I like the adjustable strap with reinforced leather at the shoulder. All in all, a great bag, and just what I was looking for. I have used this Sak bag for years. Like ten years at least. I’ve switched to other bags now and then as women do over time, but have always come back to this bag. My original one is brown and I purchased it now in black. They are awesome. Day to day use and for traveling. Holds my iPad if necessary and all my other things I can’t live without in a purse. I've been using my Dooney and Burke bags for the past couple of years and had never tried the Sak. I love leather but the DB bags with all the tassels and hardware were heavy.(A few pounds) The Sak is also leather but lighter and sits nice across body. It fits all the essentials in it, wallet, brush, phone, juice boxes, glasses, keys but if I try to fit more it starts to get heavy. Outside pockets are rather useless if inside is stuffed. Maybe a pack of tissues. Still recommend , like the adj. webbed strap. Great Bag to go shopping with. Read more

Arrived two days after ordering it. My favorite and only purse! This is my second one. First one I got 15 years ago at Costco for 39 $'s. That one had a nice should pad on the strap. This one does not. Attachable & removeable shoulder pads for purse straps are sold on Amazon. A lot of sizes & styles to choose from. I discovered a way to use the shoulder pad from my old purse on this new one. I extended the shoulder strap to it's fullest length. Cut the strap in the center. Applied the shoulder pad. Sealed the cut edges of the strap with a match. Overlapped the strap pieces about two inches and sewed them up securely with heavy duty thread and a heavy duty sewing machine needle. Works fine for me. But you can check out Amazon for purse strap shoulder pads if that appeals to you. Aside from no shoulder strap this purse is the same quality as my first one. The purse is beautiful. Nice soft leather with sturdy zippers. It measures about 11" tall, 10" wide, and 2 1/2" deep. Great size! The strap is not leather but very heavy duty and good quality. I ordered the black. UPDATE: This purse was purchased as my sole (everyday) purse. It lasted 5 months- it still looks beautiful, but the strap busted off on one side. I tried twice to re-attach but each time it only lasted a day or so. Also, Dillards has the same purse for $10 cheaper and Macy's has it for $6 cheaper. Read more
