This is full grain leather and very well made. It will last for years. The zippers are a little stiff but freed up with a little soap. The strap has a nice snap at the bottom and adjusted easily. Very nice sling bag to go around shoulder and chest. I'm doing some international travel this summer and want something that looks nice to carry my passport, money and phone in that will keep them somewhat secure and not so easy to pick pocket from. This is the small bag and pockets will conveniently handle the items I have listed. The back pocket will hold my small 380 for when I'm carrying here in the states. I am so impressed with this "murse"! Love it, and have already had several compliments on it - including my brother ordering one for himself. I got the large, which is perfect for wallet, phone, keys, glasses/sun glasses hardcase, and a couple of unused pockets to spare. The buffalo leather looks beautiful and the overall pouch is not overly heavy. It looks like it will last forever. Zippers are heavy duty and all steel. Like another poster, I recommend rubbing the teeth down with some wax (I used bee's wax) for general lubricating. The zippers don't "stick," but like anything metal, the zipping is smoother with some lubrication. Overall I highly recommend. Excellent product! I was a little hesitant based on reviews that the leather would be stiff and dried out. Should have realized they weren't horse people. The leather IS leather. It is like a lightly oiled new bridle. Just handling and manipulating it a little and it started suppling up. I may still hot oil it to get a little extra stretch. I ordered the small, and it is a tad snug. The large pocket holds my 8.5" H x 6.5 W appointment book and my wallet with ease, and some room to spare. Needs a little stretch for the book but that will happen soon. The middle pocket will hold defense needs fine and the front is great for pens and pencils. Stiff leather but really nice quality. Durable hardware. Spend some time with leather conditioner or a slightly darker polish to give it some depth and soften it up. The buffalo gives it a really nice unique look. I got it for my husband and keep asking if he will give it to me. No such luck. We both really like it. As a suggestion if you are into working leather you could edit the color and roughen it up. It’s very versatile for marking it your own. Read more

So far, so good. No complaints here. It feels a bit stiff (definitely not soft leather), but at the same time feels durable. I gave it a coat of leather conditioner based on feedback of other reviewers, and will add additional coats in the next few days. Even before conditioning, it didn’t appear dull. The front zippered section is large enough to hold my thick wallet (bought this satchel after told by my medical doctor to stop carrying my wallet in my back pocket). The main compartment is large enough to hold two 16.9 fl oz water bottles, and the front pouch can carry flat items (cc, ID, money, etc… there’s also a larger zippered back pocket that can hold flat items as well. The zippers appear durable quality and the strap can switched sides depending if you’d want to wear it to the right or left. Only time will tell, but my initial impression is positive and exactly what I needed as an alternative to carrying my wallet in my back pocket. My doctor would be proud. Read more

This crossbody bag is made of full grain (water) buffalo leather, Full grain leather is the highest grade of leather for durability, the next two grades are Top grain and Genuine leather in that order. buffalo leather and cow leather are comparable in longevity and strength. At this price you CANNOT go wrong. As far as my use is concerned, i have conditioned the leather 3 times in the first month, just to soften the leather a little bit, and it is comfortable to wear. the Zippers are of high quality, the strap is very functional and adjustable to fit my frame. This bag is going to last a very long time...I don't baby this bag it gets roughed up in my everyday use. The stitching is superb and durable. The only thing i wish it had extra is an internal pocket sleeve or clasp in the large compartment to hold my car keys. the magnetic flap covered compartment is perfect for air pods and hand sanitizer, but too small to hold pens, the next sized zippered pocket is perfect for holding my i-phone 14. 5 stars on every aspect of this bag!
