I love the packaging on these teas. I got another set & with the inner seal, they stay fresh for so long! I’ll be giving this to my boyfriend for Christmas so I haven’t tried it yet but I’ve had great luck with this brand before so I don’t expect it to be bad. My only complaint is the price per ounce. It’s quite expensive, even compared to matcha brands I’ve seen recommended highly, those are cheaper. Read more

This company is grand, I love their Rooibos and especially their Genmaicha, but this particular matcha left me feeling disappointed and sad. Right off the bat, the colour of the matcha powder had yellowed, and it did not smell as fresh. In whisking it, it foamed a little, but not enough. The taste was bitter, as bitter as raw dandelion, and it had a gritty texture to it that was not remedied by mixing thoroughly. I want to give this the benefit of the doubt and say it's just a bad batch. I will say, at the very least, that the current batch that I have will not be wasted. I'm going to use it for lattés or desserts but not again as a standalone drink. Read more

I tried using this as a tea, but I cannot attest to its flavor as this is my first Matcha. Unlike green tea though, this had more of a grassy taste which wasn't my...cup of tea. But to get the antioxidants, I mix it with my berry smoothie, and the Matcha flavor is lost. So if it's giving the antioxidants that people want then I found my go to product. As far as being a straight up tea though, I am not sure if this is the "correct" flavor or not. I am sure some tea officiants are rolling their eyes at this one, but I like it for its health properties and am probably desecrating the tea in some way with apple juice and fruit. Read more

I’m a matcha connoisseur and I really enjoy this cup of tea and the packaging. The flavor is delicious and it blends well with water. Some matcha clumps very bad but not this one. The price is reasonable too. Happy I found a new matcha I enjoy! Read more
