Cap design destroys marker tip

I bought these in October 2025 and had no issues with them, so bought them again in February 2026. This time, after just a couple of days of students using them, the tips are smashed. I was very unhappy with the kids, but couldn’t figure out why this was only happening to the new markers. Then I looked inside the cap, and saw that if you don’t put the cap on carefully, that’s what’s smashing the tips. So now I have 200 markers that will each last a couple days?? Horrible design.
