Thera Calazinc Body Shield Barrier Cream with Calamine and Zinc 2-Pack - Incontinence Skin Protectant Ointment Diaper Rash

I know they make a lot of allergy type lotions for itchy skin. Some have strong scent, this one is more soft. It smells clean, not really like perfume, but it is a heavy cream. I discovered it when I had health issue and lost use of my legs for a bit. I am plus size person and this lotion, besides zinc, it has calamine in it to. For minor skin rashes, irritation, etc., it is soothing. It is a little heavy, so hard to wash off if someone has skin folds, but other than that, it has become my favorite for the irritated areas. I think it works better than the allergy cream you can buy over counter, even the Psoriasis creams, it seems to work within a minute or 2. I tried all sorts of medical supply lotions and creams, and this has become my favorite. I no longer have to have nurse aide, they use to supply all my things, but I was so thrilled to find that lotion on here. That is my only advice or maybe warning, it is heavy and it sinks into skin, but if you or someone you take care of should put it on feet or hands, make sure they wear socks or shoes to walk and I would hold their hand or stay close if they use walker because it is heavy and will not sink into skin as quick as normal lotion. I have this stuff I get under my boobs. I never did till I did the menopause thing and I got the BBB. BOOBS , BELLY & BUTT. Anyways back to the boob stuff. This is so much better than regular calamine lotion! It penetrates your skin to relieve itching & is long lasting. I have neuropathy on my feet & had a bad reaction from an ant bite above my ankle. Ice was the only relief from the intense itching, until I tried Thera Calazine. As long as it stays at a fair price, I will definitely be buying it again. Read more
