I am used to using blue hearos earplugs, but these beige ones are more discrete. Overall, I would say these are about 90% comparable to the ones I'm used to: it is much softer but at the same time it compresses "too easily". Because of that, the noise reduction is not the optimal as it can be, so it is decent for times where you don't want complete silence. I feel it stays in place more in the beginning, but because of the easy compression, it loosens when you move around and press it such as tossing and turning in bed. I would rate it more for casual use rather than for the quality of sleep; there is a tradeoff between blocking noise too well versus long-use comfort. Read more

This is a great bundle deal for earplugs! The jar was sealed tightly, and the plugs themselves are comfortable and stay in place all night. They did have a bit of a weird smell at first, but it faded after the jar had been opened for a while. The price is very fair for the number of earplugs you get and the overall quality. The foam squeezes easy and pops back slow so it fits snug in my ear. I wore them for sleep and they blocked out most noise like cars and tv. They also worked during a flight when I wanted quiet. Each pair is small and light. The jar has plenty to last months since it comes with fifty pairs. I like that they didn’t irritate my ears after long wear. They fit slim so they didn’t stick out much when laying on the pillow. After a few uses they lose shape so I just toss and grab a new pair. I actually ordered these to wear on an airplane because I get a lot of ear pain from the pressure changes. I know there are special ear plugs for that but you only get one pair for more than it costs for this entire 50 pack. I think my ear canals might be smaller than average for an adult because I really had to stick them in to make them stay, but they worked fine on my husband's ears. Since I only sometimes have ear pain when flying, I can't say for sure that these were the reason I had a painless flight, but I will say that I'm not flying without them.. just in case! Read more

This took a few tries to but once I squished it into a thin plug and jammed it in my ears it did a pretty effective job of sound isolation. They expand in your ears to give a tight seal. I wouldn't say they are comfortable but they're soft enough that I can sleep with them in my ears. I think this pack will last me quite long. I can get at least a week out of a single pair.
