I have used TheraTears products in different configurations over many years because I've found nothing better to work for me - the individual ampoule paks are great for travel - BUT at these prices I am effectively paying over $2100.00 per GALLON of the stuff and chiefly because of the packaging and profit margin - so what about the packaging? - originally you could buy just the ampoules 5 attached in a row in a cardboard box - then the company changed over to a mylar inner pak and reduced the count from 5 per strip. the ampoule remained the same was easier to use than the current one -NOW the mylar has been beefed up with a plastic film that is harder to open and while the count is still 4 to the strip the new ampoules are not as easy to use transferring eye drops to the eyes. As for the value? On a relative basis this stuff is very expensive - If I can find same quality for much better price in a competing product I will switch, until then... Read more
