Tiny, but mighty - You won't need to use much. It is a thick ointment-type product that stays where you place it until it is rubbed into the skin. Although there is no usual numbing chemicals, I've had burn blisters calm down and become pain free within an hour or two. In addition, the burn may flatten and almost disappear within a day or two as well. As for sores and abrasions, after rubbing this on, inflammation decreases and sores disappear in a shorter amount of time than using greasy ointments like Triple antibiotics for me. Incredible! I tried this while on vacation. I had blistering sunburn on my chest. I slathered it on and went to sleep. Poof! Sunburn was gone! No blisters only a tanned chest. Most recently, I had hives as a side effect to some medication. Same results. Rubbed it on & poof the next morning, no itch, no red batch. Skin was healed. This ointment appears to be as effective as triple antibiotic ointment. I've found that this ointment, unlike triple antibiotic ointment, is effective for healed-over locations that still show that underlying tissue has some injury (provided that there is no other underlying issue such as diet; the ointment doesn't address the eventual elimination of scars, which require the use of other methods.) The ointment also reduces the size of some seborrheic keratosis (benign skin growths) but doesn't eliminate them (requires either a doctor's application of liquid-N2 or the use of the appropriate medication.)
