I have only had these for a few days, but so far I love them. The metal case seems very well made and is such a clever design. Very convenient (just a little thicker than a credit card) and definitely will keep the glasses protected when not in use. The glasses fit, stay on my nose, are light weight, comfortable, and magnify just as expected. I chose the clear frame option and they are hardly even noticeable when I'm wearing them. They don't look silly at all. I have broken other reading glasses by putting them in a jacket pocket and forgetting they were there. This seems like the perfect solution for always having reading glasses safe and handy, yet inconspicuous. Read more

I bought these as contingency for my $200 varifocals, and as a more portable set of specs compared to full sized glasses. In the past, I bought a spare pair, or took advantage of of 2 for 1, but I eventually lost all the spares. These glasses are amazing. They stick comfortably to your nose, even with a bit of head shake. If you use varifocals, you will be used to moving your head/eyes to focus on near or distant objects, and if you do the same with these, you'll notice little difference in your vision. For example, I am now typing this on my laptop, whilst glancing at the TV a few metres away and it seems quite natural. They seem a little flimsy, but so do space age titanium wire frame glasses, and I would not wear them for an extended period. But they're perfect for taking with you on a sunny day when you're in your shorts, wearing sunglasses and don't want to look "excited" by the bulge of regular spectacles in your pocket. You may be worried about if these stick to your nose. But they will. They have an ingenious flexible grip which also acts as a shock absorber, so you have to make extreme movements for them to fall off. I wish I had learned about these years ago... Read more

These are definitely unique. I can see quite clearly with them. Pros: they are in a case that's the size of a credit card, and about as thick as 2-3 credit cards together. Extremely light weight. Easy to take out and put back in case. Perfect for menu reading. Don't feel like they're going to break easily. There is no front or back, which is convenient. Cons: you spread them open and let them close on your nose and they grip. The grippers are not the most comfortable, but you're not reading a book where it would get really annoying. They are fine for the length of time it takes to read a menu or a play bill. I suggest having a place to keep them, like you do with your keys, because they are very small and easy to lose. Bottom line, definitely worth the money. My mother would always end up carrying her reading glasses and my father's reading glasses in her pocketbook when they went out to dinner. So she could never bring a small clutch bag. Ladies, I know you know what I mean. These solve that issue. Read more

Great product! Have had lots of favorable comments whenever I used them in stores/restaurants, etc. Easy to carry, stays on the bridge of the nose just fine. I gave the product 5 stars because of its utility and creativity. Now comes the BUT. One of the bridge pads broke. Can't really secure them on my nose anymore because of the broken pad so they often fall off. Since they are only 4 months old, I'm really disappointed. It is such a neat idea I had hoped to be using them for a long time. Sigh! Read more

It does its job as a pair of reading glasses and it is extremely compact and thin and easy to store anywhere on your clothing. Cool design but it does not grip/hold as well as I thought it would be, especially if the nose is sweaty or oily. Most of the time it is fidgety. By day three, the glass had a few scratches on it so quality wise, it is average. Read more

Few years ago I moved from the thick tri fold wallet to a minimalist one. One of the things I could not over come was my failing eye site and the need to carry reading glasses which just added the bulk I lost with my wallet and shifted it to my front pocket for my glass case. Then I found the key fob version of the thinoptics which I have been using for the past year. They were perfect for reducing the bulk and for the moments when I needed to read something. Well as luck would have it I broke the key-fob case and needed a replacement. I found this credit card case and it is near perfect for my needs. while a little thicker than I expected (it is the thickness of 4 credit cards I had read that 2) it fits my Ridge wallet perfectly. If I had a complaint about the case for the glass case that is that they used a rubberized type of coating on one side of the case which makes it drag when removing / inserting into the wallet. As for the glasses, I can read menus, labels on bottles, the fine print on papers, with them without being burdened by a full size set of readers. But understand that these are not replacements for the full size versions that I have sitting on my desk, they are supplements for away from home or the office. I find them comfortable for short stints of use but not for all day which the full size ones are good for. Read more

The glasses and case are well constructed and I'd probably rate them at 4 or 5 stars. However, I tired to register them the URL listed on the Instructions for Use that were included with the glasses but receive a Page not found and then tried their contact page and received Incorrect CAPTCHA numerous times despite triple checking the CAPTCHA. For Registration Required to meet the requirement for the "This is the last pair of reading glasses you'll ever need to buy." the process is unsatisfactory. I've sent an email to support and wil update this if I received a response. Read more
