OK, let's start with a confession: I almost never wear a bra unless I'm going out (rare) or need to obfuscate my nips (rarer). One of the few underwire bras that's stuck around in my wardrobe since back in the day when I did wear bras more regularly is a ThirdLove bra. It was my favorite one that wasn't super padded for forever. It's pretty beat up at this point, but ain't no way I'm buying a new one when I wear bras so very infrequently. So why did I order this sports bra? Well, I live in Phoenix, Arizona, and it gets very sweaty here during the summer. I got some really terrible underboob chafing, and when I was offered this bra I figured it might help prevent that from happening in the future, plus I already had a positive opinion of ThirdLove from the one bra of theirs I've hoarded since they launched. I love this sports bra. I find bras uncomfortable in general, and sure, I feel more restricted than I normally do without one, but I can tell my underboob is SO happy that there's something preventing it from rubbing against my other skin bits. I was worried it might not fit, since there was no size chart provided in the listing and the random ThirdLove size chart I pulled up on their website suggested a 1X, the largest size offered here, would be borderline for me. I have a 44" bust and a 39.25" underbust. This bra is snug, but not uncomfortable, and this is coming from someone who usually goes commando on top. The band rolls up a little bit but I honestly was about to say it didn't-- I had to touch it and check-- so even when it does roll up a little bit it doesn't do so in an annoying way, in my opinion. It feels "supportive," or at least what I think people mean when they say supportive. I have very few positive interactions with bras so I'm not sure I even know what good support feels like. The material is a little swimsuit-y, which isn't my favorite, but which also isn't uncommon for athletic wear. Since I got it in an attempt to keep my flaps dry, I feel like it's an appropriate choice, but I do vaguely want to know how it'd feel in cotton. Alas. Overall, I'm very happy with this bra so far. A second win for ThirdLove in my undies drawer, hopefully this one will stick around just as long. Please forgive the deodorant marks on the black fabric in my photo. I never put on bras so I didn't think about the fact that I should put this on before deodorizing. The white deodorant definitely shows up on the black and didn't come off with the trick of rubbing the fabric against itself that my ex-husband learned from working at a secondhand clothing store, so be careful with that. Buying many Third Love bras in the past from Third Love, I find them to be the best. This looks nothing like any Third Love bra I have ever bought. It looks like it would fit my 10 yr. granddaughter. Finally getting it on, I can barely breathe. It is a medium. I am 5’1” and 120 pounds. I am trying to decide to send it back for a large or an extra large. I am a 46 year old stay at home mom and hate underwire bras so I have started wearing sports bras daily. When I worked I loved ThirdLove bras so I was excited to see that they also offer sports bras. I am a 38C, wear a 1X or 2X so I went with the 1X size and it fits true to size. Unlike other sports bras this one is easy to put on and is soft. While I hate sports bras with cups I like that you can remove these or keep them. The cups themselves are thin and don’t tend to bunch up so I keep them in for a little more coverage. I also hate seams and tags so the fact that this bra is seamless and without tags is a bonus. While it does say to air dry this bra I have washed and dried it in the dryer and it has remained in great shape. I love this sports bra but do have one complaint which is that the bottom band rolls up under my chest. Sadly this seems to be an issue with most sports bras. Fantastically comfortable! This sports bra fits true to size and has held up perfectly through daily runs and regular washes. Very soft and comfortable. I sized up to an XL based on another bra I have from this brand and it fits perfectly. For reference I am about a 38 C/D. The compression this bra gives wouldn’t provide enough support if I was running or jumping for an entire workout but for short periods it’s fine and it’s more important to me to be comfortable. The blue color is a beautiful neutral grayish blue that goes well with many other colors and it has some interesting woven designs that make this more attractive than a plain sports bra. One of my common complains is that the bra pad inserts often start peeling or disintegrating after only a few washes but these look like new even after months of regular wear leading me to believe this bra is higher quality and a better value for its longevity. I'd love to try this super cute sports bra. The color is so fresh, and the styling is appealing. Fabric seems soft and perhaps supportive. However, it runs small. Super duper small. Mine looks made for a preteen, while I ordered to fit these 38Gs. I regularly order ThirdLove, and generally swear by them, but this one maybe needs a review. Read more
