I bought these socks to wear with steel toe work boots. I was looking for socks that had padding on the heel area of the foot, and these socks were some of the only ones that seemed very padded on the heel. The socks did not disappoint, they are so comfortable, and all the padded areas of the socks really help your feet not to hurt after wearing uncomfortable boots. The only thing that I had a problem with was the leg portion of the socks. I am thin but do not have skinny ankles or calves. So I always find that sockets are tight in the leg area. But with these socks I just cut about two inches off the top leg portion of the socks, and they are perfect now. I will be buying more pairs of socks from this brand. Read more

I had been a faithful consumer of another named brand of socks. However, a Morton's Neuroma has caused me to look at other sock options. These socks are SO COMFORTABLE in the ball of the foot with just the right amount of cushioning as well just enough heel cushioning. Although they look thick, they do not rub in the toe area. The medium sizing fits perfectly on my rather narrow, thin, size 7 foot. The pricing was fine. Amazon came through with wonderful delivery service. Thank you for having these socks available. I could not believe how thick these are on the feet. High quality for sure, and will be great for winter or for long walks. By the way, I had to go back in and edit my post. At first I rated these crew socks as too small, couldn't stand them on first trying with my running shoes. Have since tried with a different pair of extra-roomy running shoes, and with my winter boots that are sized larger. Sock size is fine! (The only thing I find a little too snug now is the elastic banding that holds up the sock, but that may be because I'm used to the diabetic-type relief socks. I am a size 6 in Dr. Martens and bought the socks in Medium. I wore the Dr Martens Audrick 8-eye boots with silver hardware in black. The socks fit perfectly, they are a bit tighter on a wider calf but not enough to notice a circulation issue. I wore (for the first time) and bought these specifically for Halloween Horror Nights. I was walking from 1pm to 1am. I doubt my feet would have survived without these socks. My feet usually hurt in the midfoot area with these boots as the front is tightened with the laces and buckle and my foot is wider so it is usually tighter in that area but there was no discomfort there at all. The back of the foot also chafes as well during long period in these boots but these socks helped me so much! My feet were only in pain at the end of the night as I had been on them for hours. I did walk away with a skin peel on the Achilles but I did not feel the pain of it until it had peeled. I would definitely recommend these socks as I tested them to their limit and was hugely satisfied. I can now wear my boots without having to be worried about being uncomfortable. Read more
