I've had this installed in my 2004 Acura TL for a month now and it does the job well. It's secure when driving, but I do notice slight shaking up and down sometimes. It doesn't bother me too much, but I think it's important to note for others. I also found that because it's located right above the shifter, I have to be more aware of my hand movements. I bumped it a couple of times after lifting my hand off the shifter and knocked it out of the cd player. I think this is more of a personal issue, so I'm not docking points for it. Read more

So I had a different mount before this that I loved. This one looked similar so I got it. Have had it for almost a year now and it has stayed stuck to my dash all that time till today. Coming back to this description, I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to use the sticky pad unless I didn't have a flat surface, I believe? But I used the sticky pad and now it bubbled and the holder fell off while I was driving. Left a little sticky stuff on my dash and I am now trying to remove the sticky pad from the sticky suction cup and can't so far. I'm thinking I can still use this thing if I can get it off! I recommend not using the sticky pad unless necessary, but I from what I remember it came with it attached already? Correct me if I'm wrong. I like the solid arm and ball joint so the phone can be tilted and moved where you want. Read more
