I have not used conventional laundry detergent in 17 years, until now. As the granola family member, I have used much more expensive “natural” branded detergents because I like to invest in small businesses and buy environment-conscious products. I am also the stinky family member, not from a lack of hygiene, the granola does not extend that far 😂, and so I need really effective detergents. I have tried everything under the sun to get sweat smells out of shirts, and nothing “natural” has ever worked as well as this Tide Sport. I initially bought it by accident in the small 14 pod bag, and it worked so well in getting sweat smells out of my clothing that I was immediately converted and I bought the big tub. All it took is the detergent; no pre-soak, no enzyme laundry booster, no pit sprays, no second wash, not even a sanitizing or steam cycle, just this detergent and a regular wash in the machine, and my clothes came out super clean and not smelling like sweat after the first pass. The pods come in a double dose, so I got this tub because I wanted to be able to control how much detergent was used; not every load is an XXL. This makes it easy to use small or large amounts of the detergent based on load size or soil level. It is scented but it just smells clean, like detergent, and it is not overpowering.
