I'm so happy to have found a replacement for my rice cooker inner sleeve that fits. I love my rice cooker, but when I discovered that the nonstick coating was starting to chip, I was so sad because I have read it becomes toxic! Didn't want to throw my cooker away! This stainless steel inner pot is so much better! I don't know why the manufacturer didn't make them stainless from the beginning. This should last the lifetime of the cooker. My cooker is a National brand which I heard has become Panasonic. The 21×11 pot fit just like the original. I haven't used it yet, but from checking the fit, it should cook beautifully. The height is right and the top lip fits snuggly with the upper disk on the lid. There's so many brands of rice cookers, so it's hard to find a good replacement with the variations in sizes. To order one from the manufacturer in Japan would have cost more than a new rice cooker ....something like $150.00! I'm glad I found an economical solution and didn't have to create more waste by buying a new cooker and tossing the working old one. I like the shiny stainless steel. It's an appropriate weight and seems well made. Once I cook some rice in it, I will update this review. Oh, one other thing....I don't recommend that your decision on which one to purchase be based on the included steamer basket and rice paddle. They are made of cheap plastic! I won't be using them. I don't like to cook my food in plastic. I chose this brand because it could be sent to me sooner than an identical one I saw on Amazon. The basket would have been great if it was stainless steel like the bowl part. Oh well. Read more

So much better than the old, scratched-up Teflon pot. It’s a bit harder to clean than the non-stick pot, but just letting it soak for a bit does the trick. Read more

I purchased the 21x21x11 size as a replacement for the pot in my Panasonic SR-DE103. The 21cm diameter was perfect. However, I foolishly didn’t calculate the height properly - 10.6cm is NOT the same as 11cm. Measure carefully if you are thinking to purchase this product. We had a little journey trying to make it fit. I suggested applying a rubber mallet to reduce the height of the lip down by the essential .4cm. I will say, the rim is very sturdy and would not budge. During the heavy pounding of the attempted rim reduction, the attached bottom heat distribution plate slightly cracked away, so that ended up being completely removed to see if that would make it low enough. (Sorry, no ‘before’ picture of the heat distribution plate when it was attached, just the ‘after’ pictures) I’m happy to report, the bowl now almost fits. The top of the rice cooker doesn’t quite close, but the test batch of rice came out with a lovely crispy crunchy layer on the bottom (I’m guessing because we removed the bottom plate). This thrills me as this is exactly how I like my rice and could never replicate with stove top cooking. The bowl is metal without a non-stick coating and came with a plastic steam tray, rice paddle, and ladle which was not mentioned in the description. Apologies to the manufacturer for what we put this pot through :-) Read more

I got this to replace the pot inside an older Aroma rice cooker. The non-stick coating was coming off so I wanted to replace with a nice stainless steel pot. I measured the dimensions of the old pot in centimeters across the rim and total outside height. There will not be much clearance for the pot, so it's important to measure accurately. I ordered this stainless pot based on my measurements and it fits perfectly. In fact, the old pot just fits inside the new one and pulls a slight vacuum when I took them apart. Fun! The performance of the new pot in the old cooker is unbelievable. I feel like I have never had rice this good. I guess it has better heat distribution now. Cleanup is no less difficult than with the old nonstick pot. The stainless steel has a mirror finish and doesn't stick much. This is a great rice pot! Bravo! Read more

we were looking for a replacement for a scratched pot for the Zojirushi NP-HCC10XH. A previous review said it fit a Zojirushi rice cooker. It doesn't fit this model. The pot looks like it is well made and sturdy. I wish it fit. Will have to keep looking Read more

Inner pot diameter around 18-19 cm (hard to measure, pot is curved smaller near bottom). This was the 21X21X11 cm pot. Cooked 1 cup of rice and it stuck a little (did not brown or burn), but wasn't hard to wash off afterwards - I think I put little too much water in sweet white rice, but it came out fine (it's a sticky rice). Better than risking eating whatever the coating is off a scratched non-stick pot. Not sure if the white plastic steamer basket is BPA free, but it fit's my old pot and my old (original) orange steamer insert fits the new pot (I think that was BPA free, not sure - it's like 6-8 years old. New one is BPA free). Going to look for a stainless steamer basket with the right dimensions for dumplings and veggies, but I think I can also use one of those collapsible steamer inserts, too in this thing. Read more
