You do need to have your own lightbulb ready, since that is not included, I was impressed by the quality and beauty of the lamp right of the box. The glass is very pretty, and the colors looked beautiful in person. The base felt sufficiently heavy and sturdy. All the intricate details are more beautiful in person than in the product photos. I wasn’t sure what to expect when ordering and even told my husband that I was not confident that it would fit our space. But once we both saw the lamp, we fell in love.
