I didn't get a chance to test how waterproof they were, but they kept me warm (with a base layer underneath) in snowy and sub-zero conditions in Fairbanks, AK. I bought one size larger to accommodate the base layer. The zipper on the bottom of the leg improved the fit over my shoes and boots. I'll rely on them again for cold weather. Read more

These are fantastic pants. Very comfortable and definitely a good waterproof. I wore them while trekking Disneyland and they kept me warm in the evening, but maybe a little too warm during the day. Regardless, the quality is very good and the fit is very comfortable. Inner lining is soft (which matters to me) and I like the ankle zippers for a little “breathability.” Well worth the price, I highly recommend. I actually plan on buying at least one more pair. I have been looking for a pair of lightweight snow pants that I could wear in the colder months to help stay warm during my daily walks. I am 5'7" tall and about 150 pounds, usually wear size 8/10 or medium for pants. I ordered this in a large, because I wanted a loose fit so I could wear these waterproof hiking pants over other pants. As it turns out, the large is definitely big enough to do this. I may have even been able to wear them over other pants if I had ordered a size medium. In any case, the size large seems roomy enough to accommodate other layers, and I like that it has belt loops if I want to hold them in place more tightly. They wash up easily enough in regular wash, cold water. I do hang them to dry as I'm hoping that will help them last longer. The zippered pockets are great, and I like that you can expand the pants at the ankle to fit over boots, if desired. I have not tested out the "waterproof" claim in snow yet, but I will say that I wore them on a rainy-day walk and kept quite warm and dry. So far, I've only tested down into the 40 degree range, so I can't yet say how warm they'll be in colder winter temperatures. I did try them without other pants underneath - they are fuzzy on the inside, which is comfortable. However, they also have a seam that runs across the leg above the knee, and that is noticeable and rubs against the skin when not wearing other pants underneath (and is not-so-comfortable). It's not as noticeable when you layer other pants underneath. All in all, I would give 4.5 out of 5 stars, and am taking half a star off because of the seam that rubs above the knee. But since I plan to layer these pants on top of other pants, that really is a non-issue for me. I am very pleased with these, as they seem to do the job of keeping me warm and dry, and also help cut out the wind, but also are light weight enough that I can easily walk and move around in them. These waterproof fleece lined pants are going to be fantastic for the cross country skiing season, and all kinds of winter activities. They are fairly flattering, have just the right amount of stretch, and I love them! The hems are sewn neatly, and they seem like they will hold up. The zippers slide smoothly. I love that the pockets have zippers, and zippers on the bottom of each pant legto allow easy fitting over boots. They are also well-made in the knees; see the small pleats that allow for easy bending of the joints. Read more

Got them for the gf and ended up as my favorite work pants for night job as a server. Just wish they had more pockets but over all great quality pants at a good price and large fit me 32-34 just right. Read more

These fleece-lined hiking pants are well-made and durable with a thick, high-quality fabric that has just enough stretch. The zippered pockets keep your items secure, and the ankle zippers will work perfectly with high-top hiking boots. They’re warm, comfortable, and ideal for cold-weather hikes. For reference, I’m 5'7", 135 pounds, and wearing a medium — a small might have fit, but I like the looser feel and ability to layer underneath. Read more

I don't like being cold in the winter. My usual choice for pants in the winter is a pair of leggings under jeans. I was delighted to find these TIHEEN Waterproof Hiking Pants Women, Fleece Lined Winter Warm Snow Ski Pants. The fleece is soft and warm and the water resistant pants are not as thick as jeans so I actually have more movement in these pants than my other winter set-up. I love the generous sized pockets that zip closed and that there is a bit of forgiveness (stretch) in the waistband. Read more
