The original models were a staple in my wardrobe as a teen in the 90s. Glad to have them now with a platform. They’re very comfortable, feel stable on the foot, and look great with wide leg jeans. These shoes are nice and seem like they would be very comfortable if you have the right size. For some reason multiple reviews advise to size down. That was a mistake in my case. My usual size is 7 1/2, I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size 7. They were too small overall. These shoes are a bit more on the narrow side. Not a true narrow, but if you have a wider toe box or aging feet, these might feel too snug. I’m exchanging for my actual size and hope that works. The foot bed feels very comfortable. The leather is soft, though the heel might take a little breaking in. I will update when I have the correct size and I can properly try them out. (UPDATE!) I returned for my usual size (7.5) and they are SO COMFORTABLE! I’m so happy! I loved these as soon as I took the out of the box and was hoping the advice I took to get a smaller size was where things went wrong. My usual size fits like a dream, no slippage in the heal like others have mentioned… THOUGH I will add these shoes have 360 lacing so theatrically you should be able to tighten the lace to stop the heal from slipping if that’s an issue Get em, they’re great. These shoes are adorable, but they do slip a little on my heel. I wear a 9.5 in basically all tennis shoes, boots, and dress shoes. I have a wide variety of brands and styles and 9.5 almost always fits perfectly. In this shoe I think I probably should have gone with a 9. However, I also feel like my toes are in the end of the shoe, so I wonder if the heel is slipping bc the shoe is kind of heavy and the cute laces don't really keep them tied tight to my foot. They don't hurt when they slip. They are just a little awkward to walk in, so I wouldn't want to wear them if I was doing a lot of walking. Read more

I love these shoes. They do have a very thick sole which puts them on the heavier side, but I prefer a platform shoe anyways. Insoles are very comfy without being overly mushy if that makes sense. Fits true to size, high quality. Wouldn’t expect anything less from a pair of Timberlands. Read more
